Announcement of a trailer that's an announcement for something else.

With the lack of content in this game and the way they have delayed or cancelled almost everything on their precious roadmap at some point I'll hold my breath on this one. I think I'd rather tackle some European theater stuff than the Pacific because DICE really doesn't know how to make open maps anymore. Al Sundan is awful.

I broke off an 80 piece with the world's worst squad yesterday. I'm trying to hit the 100 kill milestone, but it's tough to find a server that stays competitive enough through a map like Devastation where 100 kills is possible. Most of the ppl I know don't count 100+ on Underground because of how much easier it is.




Also check this out... completely glitched outside the map on Operation Underground. This guy in my squad said he was "glitching to get to the other side of the map" and he clearly knew how to navigate out of it.

I've got BF5 for PC but I haven't played it in about 10 months either. All of my friends got it for a limited time through some kind of game service and they never bought it outright, only I did. It was fun while it lasted though.

I just jumped back on over the last two weeks to play after taking at least a four month hiatus from gaming in general. I've really enjoyed my time. The gunplay has been very solid and I'm getting moderately competitive games, though sometimes total blowouts occur. I have however had a difficult time finding adequate squadmates.

With the Pacific theatre coming this week, I am very excited for what's to come. Obviously it's taken way too long to get to this point, but I'm ready for a change of pace. Very hopeful we get at LEAST one other pacific map besides the three they announced. However, if this content flops, I'm thinking we won't be seeing an American European invasion or Russian chapter. They absolutely have to deliver here.

If you're on PS4, add me sgjanik6. I'd love to get a nice squad to play with as most of the guys I played with abandoned the game for Modern Warfare.

Next release will be modern...no doubt...so I'd imagine everything will be geared toward making the release polished and robust. Not to mention the new consoles next year! Every minute will likely be put forth next year's title after this DLC drop.

Yup, you're probably right. Such a sad thing that they messed this game up from the start. Things have gotten better, in my experience but they really dropped the ball from Day 1.

That and struggling with the "live service" model. I couldn't imagine the uproar if they had paid DLC packs still.

I would take Premium paid DLC over the current model.

There are three new maps and a remake since the release one year ago and even then the game released with 8 maps. The few new maps are either Squad Conquest exclusives, remakes, or just not very good. Marita is okay, but even it has a poor design. DICE just doesn't make very good large maps anymore. Their best maps are all small/close quarters because they designed the game to favor people laying prone with an MG-42 or Boys AT Rifle way off cap. I'm hoping this new chapter succeeds so we can get to Eastern Europe/Russia.
