    Re: The Division 2

Looking forward to the FOV slider addition on PC.

Sucks about the M17 nerf, but it's whatever. I don't let the numbers bother me like some, Reddit is flipping the hell out about it. I love using the rifle and the M17 is still my favorite so I'll continue rolling with it.

Lots of small changes and qol improvements in the update. Looking forward to jumping on this afternoon.

Some notables after sifting through all the complaints on reddit about mod changes and weapon and skill nerfs.

Hovering the cursor over tunnel entrances now shows the tunnels layout.

      Headshot sound is back!

NPCs at the Base of operations don't talk at you anymore.

Faction keys always drop from bounties now

to be honest, I found it highly annoying. Got to the point I would step outside the White House to look at my loadout. Got tired of them constantly saying hey agent over and over again.

          NPCs:
Decreased damage of all NPC Automatic Shotguns
Decreased damage of all NPC SMGs
Thank goodness. They were sooooooooooooo overpowered when NPCs had them.

Amen! When I'd get done with my daily round of looting the Control Point caches, I'd fast travel to the White House but then just stand outside while I sorted through my gear, see what I was junking and what I was keeping, before I'd even consider entering and going over to the vendor just because I got tired of the cache tech guy. "Hey Agent, come over here!" How about you blow me!

Headshot sound being back makes me a lot more happier than it probably should.

Finally almost to the endgame. Just took out the Hyenas stronghold. About to assault the Outcast stronghold. That'll probably be all I get done tonight as Fridays are a gym night, so True Sons and the Capitol Building will have to wait until tomorrow most likely.

That said, I had a lot of fun doing District Union Arena. I'm definitely going to end up replaying these stronghold missions again at some point. Though maybe it was just because I was doing it solo, but I was surprised at how few enemies there were for a stronghold. I expected far more enemies than there were and a lot more waves of enemies as I fought through the building. It felt like just another mission, maybe with an extra named elite boss or two thrown in.

Yeah The Hyenas are the weakest out of all of the factions. That is all I am going to say.

Yeah, I was shocked at how easy the Hyenas stronghold was. You stare at those strongholds all game, expecting them to be giant pains in the *** to beat, and I just breezed right through that.

I just completed the Outcasts stronghold. Roosevelt Island was better. That was closer to what I was expecting, a lot of waves of enemies, more numerous enemies, and what felt like an actual challenge in the final part of the mission when it seemed like enemies just kept coming from various directions while I'm trying to complete the objectives.

I'm expecting the Capitol Building to be a wild ride. It's seemed like the True Sons missions have been among the best ones to me. I loved the Lincoln Memorial mission. The Air & Space Museum, Space Administration HQ and ViewPoint Museum were all among my top missions that I enjoyed completing. So I expect the Capitol Building to be a damn entertaining mission.

Tidal Bassion was a let down. Rolled with a squad, cleared it out pretty fast. Was like damn.

                        Re: The Division 2

Well, I hadn't planned on doing the Capitol Building tonight, but after doing my daily Control Point rounds to collect all the weapons and gear from them, I teamed up with a guy through public matchmaking to do the challenging bounty with less than an hour before the servers went down for maintenance, then we proceeded to go do all the other bounties and then he started up the Outcasts stronghold, which we massacred with a team of four people.

Then with less than 30 minutes until the servers shut down, we massacred the Capitol Building with a three man team. We finished the mission with one minute left before servers went down. I just started the cutscene upon entering World Tier 1 when I got booted out of the server.

We raced the clock and we conquered. That was a lot of fun. I added both the randoms I went through the Capitol Building with to my friends list as we were absolutely kicking *** together.

Nothing is hard on story difficult with a team of 4. I thought the stronghold itself was great. Didn’t get much time to play last night but I guess I got some work to do before I can replay it. Looks like I gotta clear the capitol again.

Finished Tidal Basin yesterday afternoon and enjoyed it. Played it on normal as I forget to even check if I could change the difficulty level. Afterwards, I did check the other story missions and yes, now four difficulty levels came up with the easiest being Normal. Excellent game though. An easy 9.0/10 for me. Enjoyed the 110 hours I put into the game but now, it's time to move on. May come back to the game in a year from now depending on what solo expansions and content Massive adds between now and then.

A friendly NPC team going off to attack an enemy control point, has that been a thing all game and I apparently just never donated enough resources to allow it to happen, or does it only become a thing after entering World Tier 1?

I got online here and went and assaulted The Vault, the Control Point north of the White House. Before I could even open the supply room, a team of NPCs came running out of a door with the mission of attacking a Control Point. I thought sweet! I immediately joined up with them and proceeded to fight our way through the streets over to the Demolition Site control point. Those crazy bastards actually raced ahead and initiated taking over the control point without me.

Edit - OK, this must be an endgame thing, because I'm seeing two Hyena groups on the world map on their way to attack two Outcast control points. So sweet! Finally control points can be attacked and have to be defended!

Yeah, the map gets so good once you hit end game. I’m gonna start farming some high level control points soon. If you take out the activities connected to them it raises their level.
