Is anyone else having an issue, now when you first load a save, Eivor stubbles around like he’s drunk? Just started like 2 days ago for me. It wears off after a minute, but I don’t understand why it’s happening.

Edit: I’m guessing it has something to do with the Yuletide Celebration, because it didn’t start until after I’d done the drunken fighting.

Seem to be a bug. I had it happen on a mission and the whole boat crew while when we were sailing had that drunk view. And another bug that happens a a few times is when you have a mission when the NPC who the star of the mission have to follow you and the person don't move. That is an annoying bug to the point where you have to load an earlier save for you can start the mission over.

Is there any difference between buying the PS5-specific game and the PS4 game w/ the free PS5 upgrade?

Valhalla physical PS4 is $35 on Amazon and im tempted to pull the trigger, but I wont if the PS5-specific game is a noticeable improvement.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

The game feels significantly worse from last I played which was right after the patch that added performance and quality modes. The game feels like it’s it in slow motion sometimes and camera jumps around. This Yule stuff feels very buggy.

Has anyone else on Series X noticed worse performance?

I am not seeing this on PS5. This only on the X?

I do wish we could customize the look of our gear like Odyssey. This game feels like it’s going to take me forever to finish. My alliance map is clearing out the 160 Powers right now and I’m almost 65 hours in. Has to be at least 4-5 regions left for me still.

Same here. I'm at 75 hrs in and im currently doing the 160 powers areas. Just finished Vinland.

Lol. I haven’t bothered with the Yuletide stuff. And I did a little of Asgard but am not going to bother anymore. Too hard to travel quickly there and what for? This game is so long that maybe I will go back and check it out when I’m done. I just like roaming around, looting and raiding treasure and doing the main story quests.

Yeah I only did a little of Asgard. To me it was pointless and didn't hold my attention at all.

Someone in AC Valhalla dev team needs a lesson in biology. I can kill a chicken or a large cow. Both give me 1 leather lol.

I haven’t had any of the drunk stuttering on the PS5 and I did a few of the Yule challenges.

I do really enjoy the story but the weapon and skill system isn’t as interesting as previous AC’s. I feel like I’ve gone 10-15 hours without upgrading and I’m doing just fine combat-wise.

I wouldn’t bother with the Yuletide stuff, then. It’s not anything special and most likely screws up your game with the drunk glitch. I did 2 missions in Asgard and had no interest in it. Im skipping that and I’m also skipping the “glitch in the animus” mystery missions.
