She still has to buy into the system. She can't be holding you back man.

Or are you saying she feels the need to not do anything (eating right, working out) because she is so skinny?
    Concrete evidence/videos please

Protein is the best supplement you can take after a workout. It is best used 20 minutes after your workout to get the full benefits.

Also note that it is important to eat 6 meals a day. This will boost your metabolism, thus allowing you to digest foods more quickly and lose weight.

You should eat every 2 hours and never go longer than 3 hours between meals. I eat; protein/carb for my first 3 meals, then protein/vegetable for the last 3.

Make sure the protein is lean. Grilled chicken is the best, along with lean ham and steaks. You can also find lean pork chops that have 23 grams of protein to only 4 grams of fat. Another great protein is Salmon and Tuna.

Basically just check the back of the box and look for protein compared to fat. Also notice the sodium levels. Sodium in excess is not good for your heart and the rest of your body. It will make you fatter because it retains water in your body.

Remember fruits and vegetables as well. Strawberries, blueberries and cantaloupe are good along with Broccoli, peas, green beans, lettuce and more.

Also, don't forget to drink lots of water! You're supposed to drink half your body weight in oz. per day. No fruit juices as they contain too much sugar.

Oatmeal and egg-whites are a good source of protein and carbs.

oranges, grapefruit, tangerines, tangelos, lemons, papayas, cabbages: red, white and green; leeks, broccoli, cauliflower

            February
oranges, tangelos, grapefruit, lemons, papayas, broccoli, cauliflower

            March
            pineapples, mangoes, broccoli, lettuce

            April
pineapples, mangoes, zucchini, rhubarb, artichokes, asparagus, spring peas, broccoli, lettuce

            May
cherries, pineapples, apricots, okra, zucchini, rhubarb, artichokes, asparagus, spring peas, broccoli, lettuce

            June
watermelon, strawberries, cantaloupe, cherries, blueberries, peaches, apricots, corn, lettuce

            July
watermelon, strawberries, cantaloupe, blueberries, peaches, apricots, kiwi, raspberries, plums, cucumbers, tomatoes, summer squash, corn, green beans, lettuce

            August
watermelon, strawberries, cantaloupe, blueberries, peaches, apricots, kiwi, raspberries, plums, cucumbers, corn, eggplant, tomatoes, summer squash, green beans, lettuce

            September
grapes, pomegranates, persimmons, eggplants, pumpkins, tomatoes, spinach, lettuce

            October
cranberries, apples, pomegranates, grapes, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, winter squash, broccoli, spinach, lettuce

            November
cranberries, oranges, tangerines, pears, pomegranates, persimmons, pumpkins, winter squash, sweet potatoes, broccoli, mushrooms, spinach

just curious as to why you changed egg-whites to eggs? To my knowledge, eggs are high in cholesterol with one egg having around 75% of your daily intake.

I think it's just a case where stewaat's girl may have incredibly high metabolism -- so high that she could cheat more often than most people yet not gain much weight, if any.

                        I'm trying.

BTW eggs are a good source of fat and protein. Yolk = nutrients and fat. Egg white = protein. No carbs in eggs! (You were probably referring to the oatmeal though)

yeah, the big thing with losing weight is laying off the soda, pizza, and spaghettios....I went from 200, down to 175 in one month by just following a good diet..

No one wants to do it the right way anymore. All it takes is a little attention to detail with respect to your diet and some exercise. Nope- everyone wants the quick and easy way out, which rarely turns out to be so quick and easy anyway. You don't need this crap, people. Stop being so lazy.

Hydroxycut was getting some airtime on WCBS in NYC this morning. I def thought of this thread when that segment came on the air. The news isn't surprising in the least.
