But, if you push yourself and toughen up and get through it you'll be happy w. the results.
That's basically me. I let myself get out of shape and want to get back in. I know I'm probably going to want to quit and die the firstfew times, but I think it will be worth it.

And, to add to this, I want to lift or some other strength-building thing the other 3 days of the week, so was wondering if I'm looking for just a slight build off mass (mainly in the arms so they're not incredibly skinny) in the entire arm (forearm, upper arm, etc.) should I be going few reps on heavy, or more reps on lighter weights?

I've been using HIIT for a couple months now. I'll be playing basketball next in the CIS next year. I just tried that guerrilla routine given earlier and man it definitely kicked my ***. My heart was exploding. That workout is definitely one im gonna keep on trying to improve on throughout the off season.

That table sounds good because of the build up from each week but full out sprinting for 30 seconds sounds like kind of much. If you're actually full out sprinting 10-20 seconds should be more than enough of a challenge. In that time frame you probably travel 100-200m and if your running 5-8 sprints thats adds up.

I ran through the Guerilla Cardio program tonight. It's tough, but not too bad (although I got back into working out for the past 2 years now so I feel I'm in pretty good shape).

My legs were burning, but not to the point of falling over. I did notice that my lungs were burning pretty good near the end.

For me, it's definitely something that I'll do 3 times a week. I'll probably do a longer, less high impact cardio session the other 2-3 days that I work out.

I did the Guerilla Cardio program tonight myself. Thanks to whomever posted it. My lungs were burning pretty hard, but I feel great for doing it. Will work this into my workouts.

I have a couple questions about creatine. I'm a averageish size guy i think. I'm 5'10 170. The way i play point guard is relies on my quickness and speed. My body fat is low and i play basketball at a high level. Reading about creatine lately i understand there is a potential to gain a lot of weight. I was wondering if this product is right for me. I want to get stronger and a little bit bigger in relation to my muscles but i don't necessarily want to bulk up. Should i just avoid creatine ? Or is it worth a try ?

                Thanks a lot guys.

I wouldn't, I would just eat right and work out.

I've always had success with it. I often cycle it with a month on and a month off. You will put on weight, more than likely water weight though. You wont get ripped from being on it but you will find yourself doing more in the gym (resulting in getting stronger). You're speed might increase a little as well, depends what you work.

Where you playing in the CIS next year?

^ Probably Ottawa or Guelph. I need to boost my grades still, I still might come back for a 5th year just to work on my game and my body. Just mature a bit more. Both schools said they'd take me even if i waited probably. What about you ? where you headed.

I just wanted to know if the excess bulk would really affect me right away. I'm just a little scared when i hear people gain 15-20 pounds when they load up. I'm not sure thats for me.

What's the best kind of creatine and whey protein for a guy to get? I think I've decided that those two would be the best supplements for me to use this summer. So now, which kinds/brands should I pick up?

Well, with all the good responses about the guerilla cardio routine...looks like I'll be starting on it Thursday.

My question above (arm workouts) still stands...would love some advice on that.

I haven't lifted or tried to get in shape in about 8 years, I will be trying to get in shape this summer, which plan do you think is best? I'm obviously out of shape, but I can handle myself fairly well athletically, so I think anything is fair game.

Yeah, I went back for a 5th year and it paid off. I'm heading to Concordia for football.

Just read the Guerilla cardio workout regime. I can tell you right off the bat, I'll be laying on the ground about a second away from death, as soon as I finish the first workout. With that said, I'll still give it a shot.

I should have never quit soccer. Ever since then, I've been lazy and only workout occasionally.
