Ouch, that would suck. When my sister and I were both still living at home I once woke up to her (who looked a lot like yours) cat standing on my back kneading my shoulder blades. Fortunately he'd been declawed since he was pure evil to begin with.

Classes that are basically "memorize and regurgitate." I've got one class this semester where literally all I have to do is memorize what the book says on concepts (which he doesn't even touch on in class) and mark that answer on the test. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like, given the fact that I'm paying as much as I am for this class, the prof should actually teach me the concepts in depth rather than just have me look for small details from the book so that way I can mark a bubble on an answer sheet.

That's how things are for me, and unfortunately, I have horrible memory. Sucks how that's basically how school goes, many times it's not who understands the stuff the most, it's just whoever has the better memory. I always do real great on assignments and stuff, but I end up doing horrible on tests/exams, it's not like I don't understand it(if I didn't,I wouldn't have gotten great marks on assignments) it's just that I can't memorize anything. It's always been like that for me,and always will be.

I knew someone who was like that. They barely paid attention in class, but they had insanely good memory and got great marks all the time.

I have a great memory when it comes to stuff like that, but I don't enjoy that type of learning at all. I'm taking honors classes next spring and they're apparently geared towards hands-on activities and group discussion so I think I'll enjoy those a lot more, especially in science classes.

All education should be more hands-on.

Teachers that teach from a book or just read slides are the ones that should lose their jobs.

So pretty much every teacher I have ever had with the exception of about 3.im good at those regurgitation of facts classes, but I hate them so much. I can live with them though as long as it isn't a math or science class. Those two subjects are where process is everything an teachers that only regurgitate facts in those classes should be fired immediately

People (usually obese) that come into the store and needlessly use the electrical scooter, presumably because they're lazy, and then an elderly or handicapped person comes in and has to walk all around the store because there are no scooters left.

They can walk just fine, they just don't want to. 'Murica.

The worst kinds of classes are the ones where everything you talk about in class is not actually on the test, but the tremendous amounts of reading they assign has all the answers. My Psychology and Interpersonal Communications classes were like this at the community college I went to. Second worst grade I've gotten in college was that Psych class and I actually liked the in class material.
