We always started the last or 2nd to last week of August. My birthday is at the end of the month, so I always missed a day of school really early in the year because of that.

My neighbor at our place on the lake is an ******* like that. We have a ramp running from lake up to the house that is about 100 feet long plus our drive way. It never fails after we mow and blow the grass off of it he will come out and point his mower towards the concrete and cover it right back up. His dogs also love to **** in our grass. Which is a problem when people are constantly walking around barefoot... His is a hippy professor who is just oblivious to a world outside of whatever the hell it is he teaches.Comment

Don't even get me started on their animals coming over in our yard.

I'm pretty sure High School started the last week in August for me, too. I can't remember for sure when because we were always there two weeks prior for 3-a-days during football camp.
Even since going back to college, we start August 28th.--

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
When I was a child and through out my entire life of schooling in Chicago, school didn't start until after Labor Day. It was years after I graduated high school that Jesse Jackson and his son held a rally saying violence in Chicago was too strong during the summer and summer was too long that they started having school start in the 3rd week of August.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Getting charged for data overage on an internet plan. I had no idea there was a limit, I thought that was only for phones. I've had this internet for years and this is the first time it happened, and I haven't changed anything, so I'm confused why the sudden spike in data. Guess it's time to find shorter porn clipsWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

My friend called in yesterday for me and there's nothing I can do apparently. I wondered if maybe someone was stealing my wi-fi but I have it PW protected. I hate trying to deal with AT&T but in my area there really isn't any other option.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

AT&T actually does have a bandwidth cap, I think. Maybe you were grandfathered into a plan that didn't have one and all of a sudden they decided to give you one?
I think it's like 500gb a month. At least I'm pretty sure that's what it is for their DSL plans.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Mine is a whopping 150gb a month, they have a chart online that shows I'd never gone over 140gb til last month when out of nowhere I somehow hit 207gb. Even weirder, I have 11 days left in the current billing cycle and I'm only at 76gb so far. Something's messed upWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

You should threaten to cancel your plan to one of their phone operators. Magical things happen when you do that.Comment

You guys would love this store called Gabriel Brothers here. They have a wall of big shoes. The only size they never have is my size, 13s. If I wore 15 plus, I'd be set.--
