I didn't know he'd attempted to do that, but yeah, base 10 is so much neater than all these units we have now. But it would take a lot to implement and most people would naturally be resistant to such a drastic change. It'll probably happen some day though since according to Wikipedia, the U.S., Burma, & Liberia are the only countries that haven't officially adopted it.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Something about food I've been meaning to mention for awhile....Anyone else noticing that portions from things you buy are getting smaller?
Pack of juice for example, lets say the pack used to be 500ml(17oz I think for you americans?), now suddenly, seems like it's getting smaller to like 490ml(16.5oz?).
And some food items, if it was 250g, suddenly reduced to like 246g now or something....
Some items, it use to be a tight fit on the tray in a toaster oven, now I'm noticing I got more than enough space on the tray for it...the portions are getting smaller, but prices saying the same if not going up?Comment

The never ending pin wheel.
I hate load progress bars too. Especially when they don't mean anything. Like when it hits 100%, and gets stuck there. What's the point?NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

To go along with the threads that multiple people create saying I am using team X, and doing Y with them. Like there is a dedicated thread for that. These forums are already cluttered with a ton of threads around release day.Comment
