Our network crashed earlier this morning. Our IT guy paged over the loud speaker, "Don't call me or email me...I know the network is down!"

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Thanks to a trailblazer in 2010, winners of championship weekend halftime throwing contests can achieve glory via unconventional throwing mechanics. The internet will absolutely complain about that, but winners will absolutely not care.

They really need to have some rule or set up the contest in such a way that it promotes actually throwing a f*#% football. They can have the short one for smaller/weaker people, but there should be an additional 15-yard downfield target that is worth like 5-10 points, so that if you want to throw it like it's meant to be thrown, you get rewarded.

He didn’t say you couldn’t write a letter.

Network might be back up by then, but it’ll be heartfelt.

The only way to get it on the radio is on XM.

Horrible cheap store brand ice cream. Tried some Aldi's bran "Egg Nog" ice cream that tasted more like banana than any Egg Nog I've ever had.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

I go to GameStop earlier and get to the counter with one of the Assassin's Creed remastered games for Xbox One. It's $24.99 but since I'm an Elite Pro member, it's $19.99. Says it on the box. Employee scans it, sure enough, $19.99. I have two digital coupons through PowerUp Rewards, one for $5 off anything and one for $15 off a preowned game. Employee checks and confirms they can both be used on the same transaction; I had already checked and knew this as well.

Employee enters the coupons and the price of the game jumps back up to $24.99. After the coupons, it comes out to $4.99 plus tax. Manager comes out and explains that because I'm Elite Pro and I'm using my PowerUp Rewards, for each coupon I use, it adds $2.50 back to the transaction. That's a total load of crap and he knows it. Another employee pipes up and says that just last week, a similar situation happened and the other manager overrode the price to make it right. Then the manager says that the price on the tag is incorrect, and it's actually $24.99 for Elite Pro. The employee quietly tells him, where I can still hear, that it rang up as $19.99.

The manager in front of me eventually says for me to pay the price on the screen. I left the game on the counter and walked out. I wasn't in the least bit rude, start to finish. I know several of the guys/gals really well and spend a lot of money there... too much, in fact.
