I actually finally got hold of someone through online customer service who amazingly informed me that indeed the shipping label does not have my apartment number on it. Even the tracking email they sent me had the full correct address. She has no explanation for how that happened other than some sort of system glitch. She also said she called a different department about fixing the address and unfortunately it's too late, and once FedEx makes it's third failed delivery attempt it will be returned and I'll be refunded.

Here's the problem: remember my previous example when the driver actually managed to deliver with signature to someone else? Now I have to worry that that's what will happen again, I guess I'll find out tomorrow

If this keeps happening...could you report it the BBB?

I believe this latest person when she said there's some sort of glitch, I've googled and there aren't complaints about the apartment # being left off the shipping label for other people. It was refreshing to chat with her as she was the only person from the past couple days who legitimately knew what she was doing and was very helpful. I looked more into the order and noticed my billing address for some reason didn't have the APT # listed, even though I clicked "same as shipping" when choosing the billing address. That's probably where the glitch lies, although I'm not sure I understand why the billing address would be on the shipping label and not the shipping address

And, of course, at last check, Travel Channel is still nothing but BS paranormal crap wall-to-wall all day and all night. It won't be long now before gossipy 'reality' TV shows start popping up on the channel. Remember when "Bravo" was supposed to be for high-brow, artsy entertainment? Talk about losing your original mission....

Networks going to air what people want to watch. Paranormal shows been around for over a decade now. Ghost Hunters made Syfye Channel a crap ton of money, which resulted in other networks wanting paranormal shows. Paranormal is so big now, they have paranormal conventions and speaking events around the country now. I remember when Ghost Hunters use to be the only one, now there are over a dozen paranormal shows across 5 networks now.

I view it as no different as many networks having their own version of The Bachelor or some type of talent or singing competition. Or how many networks have their own version Law & Order and NCIS. If it gets a lot of traffic, networks going to copy it and air it. Hell even the weather channel have shows now.

I do miss the real history on the History Channel, but I also enjoy some of their other content like Vikings and Forged in Fire.

If you get it.. The Smithsonian Channel has become one of my favorites. I usually just use the app on the Firestick or Roku though.

I only have so much free time so I'm typically watching very specific shows or sports so it's no big deal.

I haven't seen an ice tray in years lol. Thought they went the way of beepers, cord phones and cassette tapes.

I use ice trays! Mostly because I only ever use ice when I'm drinking adult beverages, so I like a crystal-clear, pristine, filtered-water ice cube of a certain size that is non-standard for most freezers. I also don't want the ice that's been sitting around in the freezer picking up off-flavors or other scents for weeks at a time.

But I guess if you're just using it to cool down your water or a soda or something, the auto-freezer stuff is more convenient...

My oldest son can't make a backpack last. He goes to a nature school kindergarten where they spend a lot of their time learning outside. It's pretty cool and he's been going there since he was 3 in their preschool. So they spend a lot of time hiking and stuff.

We bought him a cool Pokemon backpack before the year started and it lasted a while until the strap tore. So we bought him a Jurassic Park backpack and less than two weeks later the strap tore.

Now I'm ordering a more durable one online and the website offers free shipping for offers over $50.00 and my checkout total is $49.95 and I don't qualify for the free shipping. First world problem I know, but there's nothing cheap enough to justify adding something else for the shipping. I know they do this crap on purpose.

Given the rate at which your son is going through backpacks, I'd order two, then you'll qualify for free shipping.

You gotta know my wife to know that's not happening lol.

The school he goes to is part of the Camp that she also works at and they are extremely sensitive to the environment and recycling. My wife has a reusable straw she takes with us everywhere, but she doesn't care what I do so I don't mind.

When we go grocery shopping we bring our own bags so we aren't using the plastic ones so they are hard to come by in our house. We recycle all of our plastic bottles like milk jugs and juice bottles from the kids.

I told her I think he's hanging his backpack on a tree limb and swinging during one of their hikes.

I'm thinking of how that would go:

Kid: "Bye dad!" ...proceeds to close car door and you see him carrying a plastic bag that says "WAL*MART" on the back that has his books and lunch in it.
