They don't. That's part of the issue.

It's either some outdated pricing from 5 years ago, blurry, or more times than not its just not there.

That or the food on the restaurants site isn't what they serve and is just stock stuff they found online.

Thing is because pricing has gone up, even a menu from a year ago is outdated but I don't wanna spend $18 on a ****in burrito and whatnot so I'd like to know before I get up and go.

          That's the point.

It's not even like it costs money to do that. You just take a pic, post it on your social media, website, or just for non tech savvy owners, post it on the google page (or have one of your regulars or friends post it as a customer on your page).

Only reason I can think is if owners can't remove images. Would look bad posting your menu in January 2022 and the in January 2023 you post the updated pic and people can see both menus at the same time and see your price increases for themselves. But if you upload an image as an owner, I'm sure you can remove it.

But like you said, it's nice to know beforehand what you're paying for.

Don't wanna go in not knowing what's on the menu, or seeing items you like at a price you wanna pay, just to find out the price is 75% more now vs 3 years ago. That's just not good business. Your customers shouldn't have to go out of their way to consume your product.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

Okay, not sure what to do here. I have a gear-grinder within, but more so I have questions for you guys.

So I think one of my primary passwords I use online has been compromised in a "data breach," and it led to somebody hacking my Twitter/X account, spamming it, and getting my account suspended. I don't really go on there at all, but the posts are still on there and I'd like to clean it up and apologize to anybody who is seeing it. I have sent about five appeals since it happened and it has been nearly two weeks, but they have yet to respond in any way.

            1) Does anybody know how else I can proceed in this situation or who I can reach to get this lifted? I just want to change my password and move on from it, but it won't let me log in at all.

            2) Both my Facebook and Spotify claim they have detected "unusual activity" on those accounts since then, with nothing on there to speak of whatsoever. Not sure what that is and I'm guessing I know the answer to this, but how important is it that you think I find every website/app that I own with this particular password and change it? Do you feel this activity is somehow linked/related?

My gear-grinder is these guys won't get back to me and my account is sitting there exposed.

Happened to me with Facebook. Create a new account and just keep reporting it. (Encourage your friends to also report it).

They should be able to match the IP from your new account with the old one. And it won’t match the current one being used.

Doesn’t mean you’ll get the account back though, that takes an act of supreme powers.

I appreciate the gesture. Sadly, I often use a VPN on my devices as well. I wonder if that will affect anything.

Unfortunately, I had my FB account hacked 2 more times in 3 weeks, even though I had completely changed my passwords each time. It wasn't until I activated 2FA that the hacking finally stopped/failed.
Thanks! I did factor 2FA for it for now. I don't see anything on the Marketplace, but I assume that it has since been removed if that was the case. I guess I'll keep snooping if anything else looks off.

Not sure what somebody would do with a Spotify account, but okay!

By the way, I think the proper phrasing was "suspicious activity." My mistake.

I got lucky, my twitter/X got hacked and the PW was changed, but they didn't change my recovery email before I caught it

but like a week later my debit card didn't work and I was in a full panic thinking they somehow got my bank account even though it's not linked to anything lol, turned out the chip just wasn't working for a day

I don't remember the story in full detail anymore so I'll have to see if I ever posted about it, but when I was trying to once download a .dll file for my computer it apparently came with a trojan horse, and immediately my debit card information was stolen and microtransactions were made all over the place, alongside about a $1000 purchase for a Samsung phone or something or another. That was a scary time indeed.

EDIT: Here is the only post I could find. I guess I hadn't yet had the phone purchase happen by that point yet.
