Picked up a sixer of the Tumbler last night. One of the better brown ales I've had the pleasure of trying. The nose on it is amazing. The taste follows suit.

I'll be grabbing some more next time I'm out. This might become my fall session beer.

Really enjoyed it and then I drank way too much of it and it started to remind of my lysol for some reason, havent drank it since.

Another question, do you prefer to drink from a frosted mug/glass kept in the freezer, room temp. glass, or straight from the bottle/can?

If your gonna drink craft beers, its imperative to drink from a glass...room temp

Are you guys noticing the increase of craft brews in cans that I'm seeing? It's kinda weird. I've been brainwashed to think that only weak american swill (with a few exceptions like Guinness) comes in a can but I've tried a few crafts in cans now and I think some of them actually taste better then bottled counterpart, much closer to what it tastes like from the draft.
Yes, love the Hell or High Watermelon beer, love the brewer too; 21st Amendment. They also produce Monks Blood, which is very heavy, good for a cold cloudy day. Which is something we haven't seen here in NorCal yet.

Mabster, how did you like the 3 Philosophers? One of my favs. Also for a good local (NorCal) beer check out the Ruhstaller 1881, which is starting to be made (again) here in Sactown.

The Hell or High was the first I'd had from 21st, and I'll for sure be trying some more out of their line.

I don't have a lot of quads under my belt to be a great judge but I enjoyed the 3 Philosophers very much. I was happy to have found it all the way out here in Cali. I wish all bevmo's would find a way to share stock and not be confined to the local distributor.

Mab, make sure and check out your local organic groceries as they almost always stock good beers from around Cali. I usually get my beers from my local org. store and Whole Foods in Sactown. Bevmo is aight, but here in Sac, the local co-op and WF have them beat by far.

Just saw this set of glasses at target except they were on sale for 20$. Not too sure about them though, they felt very thin.

I've been in many a WF but never really checked out the beer aisle, it just never occurred to me. Thanks for the tip. The nearest one to me now is a good 40 minutes away though down in Roseville.

That's one thing I don't have is a proper set of glassware, just have a collection of pint glasses.
