Does your pup know and follow commands? What's the most difficult thing with him?

Pool temp has probably been in the low 70's on the days we've swam. I've got a heater for my pool though so that helps. My wife and her friends expect the pool to feel like bath water, so I'll crank it up to 90 before they get in. There's still some cool areas, but as long as the temperature outside is in the high 70's it's usually fine.

A heated pool must be nice! I got my pool all cleaned up this morning but the water temp is just 65, still another month before I brave it! I get in when it hits 80, dogs usually around 70.

It's been nice so far... my tune may change once the gas bill comes in though.

So far the dogs really don't seem to like being in the pool unless they're on a float. I guess it could be because the water is too cold for them. I'm going to try more once it gets a little warmer.

My dogs love the pool but they didn't at first. They first needed to see other dogs playing and having a good time in there, then they were all about it.

This weekend we took our new puppy Winnie to meet up with her momma, brother, and sister. The puppies all turn 6 months this week, so we had a fun reunion for that.

Here's a pic of my pup Winnie on the left, and then her momma Monkee, brother Spiffy, and sister Frankie.

If you didn't see yesterday in the OT thread, I do like to torture my dogs as you could see from this pic:

But the dogs may revolt today after doing this...

There's no way I would be able to get Gemma to hold still for that long - much less get her to wear all of that stuff. Great pics, Kevin.

lol, they weren't very happy about it, especially by the time this photo was taken. Usually I play with the dogs a lot before photos so that they are panting, which makes them look like they are smiling, like in the Star Wars photo. But I wanted them to look like an angry mariachi band in this photo. Mission accomplished, lol!

I really hate to bring anyone down. But my parents had to put down my sisters dog tonight. My sister is in California and she was staying my my parents.

She started having seizures today and they took her to the emergency vet, did x-rays, which came back fine, but she started having seizures again, this time grand mal. She had around 10 total today. My sister made the decision about a half hour ago.

She was 10 years old and a beautiful black lab. She was so sweet. I am gonna miss her so much. I know its what's best for her, but it hurts. And I can only imagine how much my sister is hurting right now.

Sorry if this brought anyone down. I just needed to get it out. I will post a pic of her soon.

                          Zoe and my sister.

Sorry, just now seeing this. He learns commands and obeys pretty well. I'd say the most difficult thing is just trying to make sure he gets his exercise. He has a ton of energy so I try to take him on as many walks/play with him as much as I can. That way he's less likely to take out that energy on my furniture or belongings.

My girlfriend and I have been together for over a year now and we moved in together at the beginning of this month, so we decided to start a family.

By adopting a dog of course.

This is Tanner. He is 2 years old and he is a good dog.
