Re: Weight Loss - Tips & Daily Check-in

I have a multi-grain wrap (100 cal) almost every other day and it's got a ton of dietary fiber. But overall, I'm not 100% sure how much fiber I'm getting.

      Fruit
      Vegggies

How much of that are you getting into your system

Dried fruit will also aid in moving your bowels.
      Concrete evidence/videos please

I eat sauteed peppers and onions on a daily basis. I'm addicted. I mix them with chicken or I'll throw em in my omelet.

I don't get a lot of fruit because I'm trying to stay away from carbs right now, good and bad carbs. Only carbs I try to get is my multi-grain wrap.

          For lunch:

3-egg omelet (210 cals) with 1/3 cup reduced fat shredded chz (90 cals) and a tbsp of Tostitos Chunky Salsa (5 cals)

          305 cals. Not too shabby.

Staying away from carbs? And you work out right? Do some research on that Sting. I don't want to tell you anything and post a link like I normally do.

But try getting more raw veggies in your diet.

Yea I'm pretty sure that breaks down muscle and all that but it helps with weight loss so I'm not worried too much about it at the moment. When I get my target, I can build back the muscle.

Raw veggies? Only veggies I can stomach are peppers/onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce. I'll try to make more salads using those. I've just been on a grilled chicken kick lately.

                Oatmeal
                Whole Grain Rice and Pastas
I suggest adding some Wheat Germ and/or Milled FLaxseed into your diet. Can add it to anything for the most part
                Large water consumption can help

Should be going at least 1 time per day. Preferrably 2-3 times per day.
My lady is huge into buying products with high fiber contents. A couple days I've messed around and had coffee, oatmeal, and an apple for breakfast.

Those mornings are handled much better at home compared to work.

I just wish that you and other would stop being so worried about losing WEIGHT and more focused on building world class bodies.

I don't understand why you would want to limit your muscle development by refusing to intake carbohydrates simply because you want to "lose weight." When it is well documented that building muscle accelerates the process of burning fat (which I am sure you are really trying to do).

Re: Weight Loss - Tips & Daily Check-in

For lunch I had a small tin of chicken with hot sauce, a large grapefruit, a few small carrot sticks and a cheese snack. So i'm doing well with about 300 calories there, for a total of about 700 so far today.

TMagic - I realize what you said is true, I do not intend to change my eating habits when I'm done losing the weight. This is my diet for life.

Well if it's a # that motivates people go for it.

I believe the # should be body fat %, not weight. But that's just me!

Saturday I had 2 slices of pizza for lunch, dinner I had a Double Down from KFC, individual macaroni & cheese, and a Mt.Dew. And earlier today I was out running errands and was starving so I had 2 jr. Roast Beef's from Arby's.

Definitely not happy with myself. I've been good lately but this weekend I just let go. And next weekend I'm going to visit my wife so we will be going out to eat for sure and it's going to be hard to eat healthy.
Don't feel to bad I had my weekly "cheat day" yesterday and it really showed on the scale this morning. Yesterday, I had pancakes for breakfast, Rasin Cain's (snack combo) for lunch and spaghetti & meat balls for dinner and 5 powdered doughnuts for dessert. :o

I'd rather be normal weight and weak than be bigger and stronger. So the number on the scale works well enough for me. I am going to do whatever it takes to get to 220. Once I reach that weight then I can evaluate on how i'm doing.

On the biggest loser they lose weight at a much faster pace than any of us here are losing weight.

That would be great if they made a show for people with good physiques who want to get a perfect physique.

I would try and get on that!!!
