Re: Japanese Catastrophies
I highly encourage fellow OS'ers to make a donation to the Red Cross to help in the relief.
Visit: https://american.redcross.org/site/D...rm1&df_id=5052
or text REDCROSS to 90999 where a $10 donation will be made.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Experts have already said that there is absolutely no chance of a meltdown occurring because the facilities have been turned off. That continious cooling is no longer required. Only sufficient one time cooling to bring down the surface temperature of the reactor.

The other issue is airborne contamination. With the explosion, there had to be contamination that became airborne and will emit radiation for years to come. And really, in all likelihood, its not going to be enough to have to worry about. Its nothing new compared to what is going on all over the world (there are nuclear buildings being D&D'd all over the world that release airborne contamination).Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment
