Japans building in general are built very well to wistand up to a 9.0 Earthquake. These small aftershocks and such well their nothing to worry about, the plates have to readjust themselves. May take a few days months or years. Its one of the things you know when you move to a place right no major fault lines.

The video from the airport of the water coming is freaky. Really looks like a movie.

            Those are some serious aftershocks.

Some good news is that all US servicemen and women in Japan are all accounted for, I know at the base I used to live at they've lost power, internet and phones though.

Some of these pictures and video...it's hard to watch. Just, wow.

Sounds like we had a Darwin award winner in Cali....Coast Guard searching for someone who was out taking photos.

Edit: This is what Matrix posted above, I guess.

Hope the coast guard sends a bill to the people who were dumb enough to go near the shore to only get caught into the strong currents.

I look at the videos and the photos and I can't help but for one feel heartbroke for those people and two think of how in the world do you clean that up and rebuild?

Its like a movie or something. You see those photos and videos and keep thinking, this can't be real.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

The Japanese People are very resilient.

My wife is from Hiroshima and her mother survived the atomic bomb. I have had the honor to visit the A-Bomb museum there. Definitely one place that every one should visit once in their life. It brought me to tears many times during the tour. My Mother-in-law has written several books about the whole ordeal and her wish the remove all atomic/nuclear weapons.

Even though this tragedy is beyond description and has left me numb and at a loss for words, they will get through it with dignity and grace.

So 8 feet is pretty amazing.
