Re: Japanese Catastrophies
This is all the report says at the moment:
SOMA, Japan – Soldiers and officials in northeastern Japan are warning residents that the area could be hit by another tsunami and are ordering residents to higher ground.
Sirens around the town of Soma went off late Monday morning and public address systems ordered residents to higher ground.
Kyodo News Agency said the tsunami could be 10 feet (3 meters) high, citing Fukushima prefectural officials.
An Associated Press reporter stood about 100 yards (100 meters) from the coast.Comment

Re: Japanese Catastrophies
Apparently the second explosion sent off seismological readings as if there was a quake, so they put up a tsunami warning. It's canceled.Comment

Re: Japanese Catastrophies
Whats happening in Japan right now is nothing short of amazing. Not amazing in a good way but in the sence that it shows you how anything can happen at any point in our lives. Japen is I think the 3rd strongest economy in the world. What does that really mean now?
Japan is in a reality a very small country. The effect this is going to have world wide is scary. This could in all honesty sereiously cripple the technology Japan brings to the world. Be it medical , electronic , automotive , or everything else this small country brings to the world.Comment
