When ever I have a bag of cookies, I always get out 3 at a time.

When I am walking i will press up against my back pocket where my wallet is to make sure it hasn't fallen out.

I will pull out my wallet constantly to check to make sure all my debit/credit cards, and my license didn't just magically jump out.

I do all of these too many times to count.

Always try to not step on the cracks on the sidewalk and I have to step on the solid white line crossing the cross walk, every single time.

I always avoid cracks in cement and what not.

Laundry has to be done a certain way (whites with whites, colors with colors, delicates with delicates, etc.)

I can't have dry hands. Must have some sort of moisturizer.

Tags, are my crack addiction. I will stop whatever I am doing and play with a tag if it is the ryte kind.

Finally, wet socks. Wet socks will be my downfall. If I go to prison for murder, it will be because my socks are wet. I almost divorced my wife over this.

I'll always type what I'm thinking. So, in an essay, I'll write, "I think this supports my theory because the NHL cancelled all games until January," for example. I usually catch myself... I hope.

I also yawn before every game of dodgeball I play.

I usually count the number of steps that I'm walking up. Not sure why.

I also talk to myself in the shower or in front of the mirror in the morning. I will go through situations that I might be in that day, or hypothetical news interviews. Not sure why the news would be interviewing me, but if they do I guess I'll be prepared. lol.

For some reason, every time I see a group of numbers (license plates, phone numbers, etc), I have to calculate how I can make the numbers equal 3 through any combination possible.

I also always have to have the volume on my tv and radio on one of three numbers.

Once in a while, I'll catch myself counting steps, or avoiding cracked tiles on the ground.

Whenever I day dream, I mouth out the words being said. Makes me look crazy.

Whenever I'm talking to a close friend, or just someone I like talking to in general, on Facebook, I'll have a wide grin on my face.

If I catch a movie playing on TV that I own, not only do I have to watch it, but I will watch the on-TV version of it rather than popping in my film. I'll take the commercials, censored aspects, cropped picture, limited dynamic range, and not necessarily from the beginning as opposed to getting the full experience of the film.

Currently doing this with The Matrix on VH1 (one of the common ones I do this with). Jumped in during Neo's training, which is an acceptable compromise in this case.

Volume has to be on a 5 or 0. No matter what.


Cant fall asleep without watching TV. Radio or iPod doesn't do it for me. But I can listen to radio channels or my music through my Apple TV and be perfectly fine.


Also whenever I go out I always wear a hat. Whether it be a knit hat during the winter or ball cap during the rest of the time. Also I always wear sunglasses even if it's cloudy and the sun is barely peaking through the clouds. Supposedly this has something to do with having blue eyes.

Same. Certain movies, even edited I'll keep on. Patton, Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2, The Godfather, etc.

Radio/TV/Receiver or whatever volume always has to be on an even number...
Don't know why but it bothers me if it isn't.

I have to do this when I put gas in my car. The number always has to end in a 5 or 0.

I also work tips at restaurants to get to an even dollar amount. I feel kind of bad because it results in servers getting weird change on tips, but I can't help it.

I always have to stop the gas pump on the exact even dollar. If it's gonna be impossible to do, I get that sumbitch up to .50. It must either be .50 or an even dollar total.

Same with the tips. I'll make the tip out to where they're still getting a good size tip, and usually round it up to the nearest dollar. They may end up with an extra 13 or 27 cents on their tip, but I must have it rounded up to the dollar.

Those are about the only things I'm quirky OCD about. Absolute musts every time for me.
