Getting sick always seems to happen when you're on a roll in your fitness regimen. Probably goes hand in hand with training weakening your immune system a bit though.

Yea I just found it odd for this time of year as I usually get sick around New Year's. On the plus side, I returned back to full workouts yesterday and was suprised at how much stronger I have become. That was another nice surprise to come back in a good way after having been sick for a week.

I am now moving to more heavier lifting each day with the strategy of building my upper body so that it blends with my belly

I've been getting to the gym 3-4 days a week since signing up, and I've also committed to the #RWCHALLENGE to run at least a mile a day from Memorial Day to the Fourth of July.

Been doing so good this year on eating healthy (lots of water fruits and vegetables ) and working out 5 days week.

Today I was rushing and had to eat McDonalds at work. I damn near threw up.

I don't see how I used to eat this stuff weekly freshman year

Let me say that just by adding one simple mile run per day on top of my regular workouts is working. I dropped another inch on the waist over the past week.

I have gone from a 38 inch waist to 33 inches in just over two months. I am very happy with that.

Nathan, my advice is to go after muscle and bulk but do it clean without the junk food that some use. If you do it right by lifting heavier, you will also get more definition.

Ran into a stressful period in which I'd normally over-eat and gain weight, but managed to stay at my previous weight range without gaining (and I have not been eating well lately, lol). With that done and summer coming up hopefully I can finish off and get to 205 or so which should be good for my height.

I fell of the wagon for a week or so, anxious to get back in the gym tonight.

Coming up on yet another end of round for Insanity which will make it about year that I've been doing it straight through.

To combat what I feel is plateauing motivation and body improvement I've decided to set up a small work out area in the basement and will compliment Insanity (month 1 at the very least). I want to do some basic dumb bell lifting routines combined with some core/plank workouts pulled from Insanity and do work on a heavy punching bag as well.

If nothing else it'll be something different to get used to.

So I'm 6'6, 6'7ish and I weight 232lbs with shoes on. I'm definitely a skinny guy though and I'm trying to get like a Cory Maggete kinds of cut. Idris Elba maybe lol. But the point is I wanna put some weight. I just got back in the gym last week Tuesday. My problem is that idk whether I should bulk or cut to get that kind of look. Here are some pictures of me below. (Not flexing in any of the pictures) What do you guys recommend?

Definitely bulk first, do it as clean as possible. Probably spend the rest of this year bulking, then get cut for next summer.

I'm a fan of the full body cardio workout on top of my regular workout routine. I believe it was a major factor to losing all of the fat. Getting ready to do 21 day fix in a few minutes before lifting.
