Yeah I mean +44 was Hoppus and Barker plus others, but I guess Blink-182 offered a LOT more name recognition. Easy choice to go that route then revive +44.

Right. One of my buddies called them +Skiba44 right after the whole thing was announced and I found it hysterical, so I refer to them as such.

This Pokemon thing explains a few things. After work, around 2 or 3, I tend to go running at the park nearby, and it's usually 104-108 or so, and usually it's just me, and this one old lady walks around for a while, and this other guy sits in the ramada with a computer, not a laptop-a full blown PC he carries across the soccer field and he seems to watch TV on it. Today there were a dozen people walking around, most of them with their faces straight down at their phones. And then on the way out, this kid almost walked in front of my car while he was starring at his phone, and then seemed to be irritated with me for being there.

I hope I ran over whatever Pokemon he was walking toward.

Man, I never thought Pokemon would reach it's peak again like it did in the late 90s/early 00s.

Certainly an interesting way to get people off their *** though

I basically live in the woods, so I can probably at least safely play Pokemon Go. Only problem is now the government will know where I buried all that gold.

one of the local news stations were interviewing people at the zoo who were playing Pokémon Go. I had my phone out reading a text and the journalist came up and asked if I was playing.

FWIW, this is the same person who ranted about throwing away people's cigarettes who smoke around her because it's so nasty to her... yet she smoked cigarettes the last few years! I get that we change, but don't try to get on your high horse. She woulda flipped her **** if someone had done that to her when she smoked.

I never understood why people take such umbrage to other people doing things they enjoy doing just because they personally don't like or get it. Maybe stop applying your sensibilities to everything and realize that different people like different ****.

I probably should have used the old Seinfeld line of "Not that there's anything wrong with that".
Quilting, scrapbooking, crocheting and fishing without bait are probably all fine endeavours too, but they're just not my cup of joe.
If I ever participate in any of them, hopefully someone will recognise & be kind of enough to show mercy to put me out of my misery. lmao
