yep, it's amazing what just a little salt and mustard and a bottle of Budweiser will do for them
but I'd rather eat plain pretzels than chocolate covered grasshoppers, or chilled monkey brains, or worst of all, plain rice cakes. blechh!!

also, these pretzels are making me thirsty

Eating them will definitely make for fewer restroom breaks while drinking. That's one positive. Your liver probably won't thank you later, but who asked it anyway?

Rice cakes make me think of women who will eat chicken broth and call it lunch. It's a tough life out there lol.

In terms of snacks which are flavorless, unsalted/no butter/whole grain popcorn has to be up there.

Don't get me wrong, we all know the regular kinds aren't healthy, but just because something is "less unhealthy" doesn't mean it's better.

If something like popcorn doesn't have butter and/or salt, what's the point?

exactly. popcorn is just a vessel to getthe butter in your mouth.
no one wants to be seen just eating butter with a spoon.
so unsophisticated, gotta class it up and eat your butter with popped corn lol

There are jobs where I think tipping is proper etiquette (server, delivery driver, etc..) but thats due to the low wages and that is how people in that industry make any real money. But professional builders, installers, etc...I would never tip, but would be courteous in offering food and drink.

                              Random fact I read online.

That 70s Show premiered in 1998 and the first season started at 1976 and of course ended at 1979.

So if a show like that happened today, using the same time difference, it would start in the year 2000!

Yeah time is strange. I think when you live through 10-20 years of pop culture as an adult it doesn't feel that long, but then you think of the difference in music from 1960 to 1980 (for example) and that seems like 100 years of difference. The movie American Graffiti came out in 1973 and was set in 1962, but nostalgia was a huge part of it's success. Nostalgia for just 11 years earlier lol. But so much had changed. But it was still just 11 years.
