Name me a worse snack than plain pretzels. Just absolute trash.

Re: Off-Topic
yep, it's amazing what just a little salt and mustard and a bottle of Budweiser will do for them
but I'd rather eat plain pretzels than chocolate covered grasshoppers, or chilled monkey brains, or worst of all, plain rice cakes. blechh!!
also, these pretzels are making me thirstyOSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

Rice cakes make me think of women who will eat chicken broth and call it lunch. It's a tough life out there lol.Comment

In terms of snacks which are flavorless, unsalted/no butter/whole grain popcorn has to be up there.
Don't get me wrong, we all know the regular kinds aren't healthy, but just because something is "less unhealthy" doesn't mean it's better.
If something like popcorn doesn't have butter and/or salt, what's the point?Comment

Re: Off-Topic
I've never had a fence installed, but my back deck I had built by professionals due to it being multi-layer.
I didn't tip and never even considered it. I did offer drinks, food, the use of my fridge, and to come inside if they got hot to take breaks and cool down. On the last day when they were tiding things up, I threw some burgers on the grill and fixed them lunch as a thank you.
There are jobs where I think tipping is proper etiquette (server, delivery driver, etc..) but thats due to the low wages and that is how people in that industry make any real money. But professional builders, installers, etc...I would never tip, but would be courteous in offering food and drink.

Yeah time is strange. I think when you live through 10-20 years of pop culture as an adult it doesn't feel that long, but then you think of the difference in music from 1960 to 1980 (for example) and that seems like 100 years of difference. The movie American Graffiti came out in 1973 and was set in 1962, but nostalgia was a huge part of it's success. Nostalgia for just 11 years earlier lol. But so much had changed. But it was still just 11 years.Comment
