    Off-Topic

It’s NFL football Sunday baby! Busting out the OG XBOX and NFL 2k5 in remembrance and celebration. Still the greatest.

Yeah, my knockoff XBOX controller might be taped up on the handles to stay together and the cord taped in position to make sure the wires align, but this bad boy is still kickin’.

Anyone good at graphic design, or just familiar enough to recommend a good font to use in a graphic I'm making?

Just need it for numbers like the time and date on the graphic. Arial just feels too plain to me.

There is no one answer. If there was, everybody would always use that one thing and never use the others. It depends on what everything else looks like around it. Just play with them until you decide: "Yes, this looks best." Then keep testing more.

That was my thought, how is anyone supposed to know when they don’t know what the rest of the thing looks like? Better off just googling best looking fonts and pick one.

Most graphic designers would tell you to keep it simple unless it’s a stylized company brand. Going with some off the wall font because it’s different is enticing but ultimately not a good look. Remember, you’re presenting it for someone else’s tastes, not your own. Don’t be blinded by your own bias. And having multiple different fonts all together isn’t visually appealing either.

This old State Farm commercial...it comes up often on my streaming apps and I can't take it anymore. I have to ask.

What is up with the gallon of ranch? Who in sam hill is eating that much ranch with a pizza?

Got a letter in my mailbox last week. Right house number, but the street address looks nothing like mine. And it's not a street in my neighborhood. I figured some sort of sorting issue and put it back in my mailbox.

The exact same letter came back Monday. Before putting it back in my mailbox, I circled the address and wrote on the side that it had been delivered to the wrong address twice.

Looking at Informed Delivery, it's coming back to me again today. Not sure what else I can do, short of looking up the correct street and delivering it myself.

Contact whatever company it is that delivers the mail and let them know it's been delivered to the wrong house on multiple occasions. That's about as much as you can do without turning into the mail carrier and doing it yourself like you mentioned.

I've been close to doing the same on occasion too, but for opposite reasons. I've had instances where I've seen strangers coming to my mailbox to drop off what turned out to be mail sent to their house. Some of it was just junk, other times it was serious things like electric bill.

Sometimes it's just a mistake, other times I wonder how much they care about their job. From what I hear whenever I do hear the mailman deliver mail to my house at least, sounds like he has a second job in telemarketing that he does while he's delivering the mail. Just walk and talk all day.

It's not a company sending it. I'm guessing it's some sort of invitation judging from the envelope. Guess I could write "return to sender" on it next time. At least that way, the people sending it would know it wasn't delivered.

Are you me? Same situation but less instances (just once). Totally wrong street name, though they do kinda rhyme. I don’t know where this other street is, but the zip code matches.

We just moved here so I’ve given other mail addressed to former owners to the mail person when I see them, but I don’t see them during the weekdays.

Is it legal to deliver mail to a mailbox? I recently looked up if you could drop mail in someone’s box without postage, but apparently no because the postage is like a certification that the mail was cleared by the USPS. Yeah yeah yeah, sure, take my 56 cents. Lol
