Last year, Spectrum was adding the ACC Network. It was listed on the website for my plan- it was even on a channel number that wasn't being used.

After its debut, I didn't get the network. I even reset my boxes thinking it might have been missed. When I called, they told me "my neighborhood doesn't get it even though my zip code does." ???

Then there is also the disclaimer that all channels listed under each plan may not necessarily be available. So I guess it really isn't false advertising if they have a tiny disclaimer.

Customer service is a tough job, especially at a call center that handles big accounts like a Comcast, Direct TV. I get that. But with my Adelphia to Comcast experiences, it feels like most of the time they're flying by the seat of their pants.

I had a retention department person randomly make me a bundle last time, so at this point who knows.

So after all that, I found out I'm not allowed to get a new plan.

My provider said "due to covid, we aren't upgrading customers at the moment since we can't enter houses"

My response "you guys literally advertise on TV that you have contactless delivery"

        "That's only for new customers"

So new customers get better plans than current customers, at a CHEAPER price too!? I think it's time I switch.

It looks like Joel Schumacher passed away today.

Didn’t like many of his films, but Phone Booth was pretty good.

I don't think Batman Forever deserves a lot of the hate it gets imho.

It's weird you mention Lost Boys because I was just watching more true crime stuff (can't help it), and came to a Netflix movie (featuring Holly from the Office, oddly enough) called Lost Girls. I haven't watched it yet, but the series on ID about an unsolved Long Island serial killer led me to it.

the epilogue to the ID show was disheartening/disturbing, not sure how the movie will address it

It wasn't a fake noose. It was a real noose attached to the garage door.

They established that the noose had been there from as early as October, 2019. Part of the reason it was determined not to be a hate crime was the fact the noose wasn't immediately placed there as a threat or form of intimidation to the driver or the team.

Pic further down in the article shows it from an earlier race:

Which doesn't feel like a conclusion at all. It's the beginning of the second act.
