Good to see the career started again. I think the press conference was good. You should take our questions that we would ask before the next match and do a short 2 min press conference before the next game/upload...Obviously if you show 2 games in one upload you make up a couple pre game questions. Good stuff...Goals off corners have been far and few between for me so far.

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
First time ever actually playing a Fifa game and I'm not all that familiar with the rules of soccer and all that... With that being said, I have a few questions I'm hoping a couple people would be willing to answer for me in hopes of improving my enjoyment of this manager mode...
1. How often should I adjust my lineup in regards to fatigue?
2. How do the majority of you use the scout feature?
3. I noticed there are quite a few different formations/roles/instructions/tactics ... how often should I switch them or just leave them at default?
4. How many players at each position do normal squads keep?
That's it for now. Thanks to any and all who take the time and help this newbie out..."Hate my game, hate my swagger, my hunger. Hate that I'm a veteran, a champion. Hate that, hate it with all your heart...
...and hate that I'm loved for the exact same reasons."Comment

2. I mainly just use it in the first season or something, use atleast 2 scouts and then wait for the reports. I train the youngsters already in the team as well. It depends, if you're already managing a top club then I guess just use it for one season and get the youngsters. If you're doing a youth only career mode then probably use it every season, I've never done that so not sure.
3. Formations, it depends on your preference. I don't really set any instructions or tactics, leave them as default. Player roles, just set it once.
4. I usually keep 2 players for each position, and at times 1-2 youngsters who I play in the cup games.
Hope this helped.Comment

1. I do mine as needed, trying to make sure my squad is rested for the bigger tournaments or league matches.
2. I have 1 scout in my CM teams country (Germany), 1 scout bounce from small countrys that share a border with my CM teams country (Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland), and 1 scout I use to travel with my team when I play in preseason tournaments or play out of country in Euro/Champions Cup games. eg. If I play in Chile for the American Invitational Cup in the preseason I will scout Chile for 1 month. Or If I play Barca and Arsenal in the Champions Cup I will scout Spain and England for 1 month each.
3. Take the time to find a formation and tactics that work for you. Start with your tactics all at 50 and then adjust them to your liking as the season progresses. Also figure out if you like playing with 1 stiker and attacking wingers or 2 strikers. That will help you narrow down the formation options.
4. I keep my starters, 7 reserves and usually 5-7 young players in the case of injury between transfer periods. It makes it easy to keep everyone happy and fresh. I use the rest of the spots for promoted youth squad players. But I put a lot of time into scouting, I guess it depends how important that is too you. I've always liked growing young players, it keeps FIFA fresh every year.Last edited by Gdbraden; 10-14-2015, 04:45 PM.Comment

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
I wanted to make a thread for this but I don't have the correct permissions as a new login....
Has anyone else experienced this - its the same bug from other Fifa's where you buy players and they just don't grow.
I bought Fekir and he is stuck at 79 (I know I can train him) but he should grow without it. I've tried the loan glitch 100's of times but it doesn't work - I simmed to the future and no +1's anywhere. His value will shift by 0.5 either way after loan but still no effect. Permanently stuck on 79. I guess the only solution is to check when you sign a player- which is annoying as will take a lot of saving and simming to be sure.
Also some new signings training increases don't show as a +1 - so annoying that after all these years - they still can't get rid of these bugs.Comment

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
Here is what I am using for my career. What has worked for me. What had me struggling with Union Berlin, and then have a slightly easier time with West Brom.
10 minute halves
World Class
Slow speed setting
Handballs on
I've also stopped using full manual and went back to default assistance settings aside from a few changes, which are:
auto switching: air balls
auto switching move assist: low
passing power assistance: off
pass assistance: semi
through ball assistance: manual
shot assistance: manual
cross assistance: semi
lob pass assistance: assisted
save assistance: assisted
analog sprint: off
defending: legacy defending
sliders human/cpu
speed 50/50
acc 50/50
shot error 50/50
pass error 40/55
shot speed 50/50
pass speed 45/35
injury freq 60/60
injury sev 40/40
goalkeeper 30/15
marking 55/52
run 40/30
line height 60/60
line length 50/48
line width 52/48
fullbacks 60/60
first touch 55/60
Probably doesn't work for everyone, but figured I'd post it up for a few people I've talked to about it today. Let me know what you guys think, if it works for you or not.

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
I had issues with 60, the cpu could not cross at all. Every cross attempt they did was in the stands behind the goal. So I lowered it to 55, and now its a 50/50 thing with their crosses. 58 could be a good start. Also try lowering their pass speed a little.

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
The growth thing isn't a bug as far as I can tell. I think its programmed. I think it makes it so some players that you transfer just don't end up working out for you if growth is important. So you sell them and buy someone else. At least that is how I've always seen it. Some little script in the background rolling the dice telling me who isn't' working out on my team.

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
Glad to see you back and following again this time around! I will definitely take questions, with the next press conference most likely going to be the lead up to the Arsenal match in episode 4. Want to mix it up with press conferences/other features both to keep it fresh and be less time consuming to me, so will have press conferences for every 2-3 episodes. Definitely shoot your questions in!
With all the additions/changes to the club, do you feel the preseason tour gives you enough time to work in your tactics to start the season strong or should we keep our expectations balanced?Uconn Basketball
