Playing my career mode with Arsenal on world class. I think the transfers in FIFA is ridiculous. Barcelona offered 65m for Alexis so I bid for Neymar with 10m and Alexis and they sold him to Arsenal.

Anyone with a good custom tactics suggestion and formation in general ? Want to try some variations

Just completed this past weekend's matchweek in my Arsenal career mode. Sitting 10-2-0, top of the table after a 2-0 defeat of Spurs in the North London Derby.

Heading into the International break, mulling over the Belgium NT offer. Really want France, England, or Germany. Dunno how much longer I want to wait though, as Belgium does have some very nice players...

Also created graphic overlay for my stories. Tried to copy from what NBC uses the best I can--being VERY inexperienced!

After smashing out a lot of games this past weekend, I have reached the January Transfer period of Season 2 of my Manager Mode career!

I have maintained top spot of the League One table for pretty much the whole season, but Huddersfield and Shrewsbury have been hot on my tail, with Peterborough United gaining a bit of a lead on the rest of the table the last few games!. After narrowly avoiding being fired last season the board has set a goal of winning the title...So the pressure is on to keep my job at Peterborough especially seeings I'm convinced the A.I gets a lot tougher in the back end of the season but it could just be a placebo!

Daniel Haas has proven to be a great acquisition at Goal Keeper and Tyus Browning on loan from Everton has been a great CB, as I roll into the transfer period I don't have much room to add any talent after resigning everyone and players asking for wage increases....any day now i'm expecting an E-mail form my star striker Coulibaly asking for a wage increase around the $45,000 mark, so with little funds left unfortunately I have to sell someone go of decent value to find the funds to re-sign some players!.

The offers are coming in for Erhun Oztumer, but I still fell he is an integral part of my squad but Patrick Thistle have put forth a few offers, also received a lot of interest in the young superstar striker Coulibaly who has currently scored the most goals this season on 13, but I don't fell like selling him just yet is the right move!, I do have another young talented striker in Luke James, but I feel with if I can manage Peterborough United to a promotion Coulibaly will be needed for our survival in the Championship Football League...but his value has almost tripled in a year and a half under my training and management, and am currently receiving offers for around the $6 million dollar mark for my young star prospect!.

Looking ahead, if we were to get promoted I think the team is now ready for promotion, most players in my starting 11 are at an overall of high 60's to low 70's, it may have been a blessing not to get promoted after season 1 to give my squad some time too develop and be ready for survival for the next division!...Here's to hoping I can hold top spot...and hold my manager position...because the wolves will be at my doorstep of i fail to reach my objectives 2 years in a row!

An update on my Peterborough United Manager Mode!

Well the end of the transfer period seen me make a few hard calls, as the offers were coming in for Erhun Oztumer I struck a deal with Newly promoted Wigan Athletic for a transfer fee of $1,400,000. Oztumer was a great asset to my squad with his quickness and dribbling skills allowed him to set up so much play but i felt his height at 5'6 would be a problem as we look to get promoted!. Burnley won the services of my back up RB Michael Smith for $780,000 and a surprisingly I decided to sell Daniel Haas who I recruited from Union Berlin for $1,700,000, I couldn't resist the offer Brighton gave me as I cashed in on the 33 year olds current form letting him go for $2,800,000 and giving my young prospect Craig Martin the starting position at Keeper to carry us home for the rest of the season!. It was a risk, but i needed the funds and Haas wages were going to be very high.

Season 2 worked out as good as I could have hoped for winning the Football League title finishing with 26 Wins, 15 Draws and 5 Losses...and also the breakout season of striker Soulamanye Coulibaly who won the Golden Boot for League One with 26 goals!, The 22 year old striker has received large interest at the January transfer window from West Ham, Southampton, and Olympique Lyonnais mostly for around the $8,000,000 mark, but I chose too hold off selling Coulibaly, as I wanted too secure my promotion to the Championship Football League and felt I could get more value at the end of the season and banked on him continuing his stellar form!.Bradford City also gained automatic promotion, leaving Huddersfield, Sheffield Utd, MK Dons, and Roterham Utd to fight out for the final promotion spot!.

As I look ahead going into Season 3, and a new division, I need to focus on strengthening my bench, I think my current starting squad should be able to be competitive in the Championship Football League but my bench may need an upgrade. I don't think I can hold out on selling Coulibaly for much longer as Premier League teams have showed a lot of interest and he may not score as many goals in the next division, so it might be time to cash in as hard as it will be too sell my best player who I have developed so much!.....I'll have to wait and see what the offers are come transfer period!

Hopefully the Board can give me a reasonable goal heading into Season 3!

I´m playing my second season and doing very well, as my (not so) young players are finally showing talent. Currently in first position in portuguese championship, and first at the europa league group, though this group is crazy as it is... My team, Schalke04 and Rosenborg all have 9 points, with one more match to end the group phase. It´s gonna be a crazy one for sure. Sad thing, I received a manager offer from Liverpool!! I do want to play on the BPL but I still haven´t won any title in Portugal and I might have a good chance this year, so I refused.
I accepted a Russia manager role though and currently at the top of the group stage, with wins against Chzech Rep, Austria and Italy, two draws against Chzech Rep and Norway. Things are starting to get dificult now, with stamina issues and tight calendar.

Stole 3 from Norwich as I earned a PK in the 3rd minute of stoppage time to defeat them 2-1.

CL semifinal - Chelsea (me) vs Lazio and I'm down 2-1 entering the 2nd game at home and get the worst referee in all my FIFA matches so far. Beginning of game right away calls touchy penalty to start the game which already changes everything. Then calls the entire 1st half as everything a foul and gives out yellows left and right. Completely takes me out of the game. Not to mention stops a few play ons to call a foul that he could have played as advantage for me. Fortunately in the 2nd half he called a touchy penalty on Lazio to get me back in the game. lol



Managed to get back in this game and win it on penalties but had a water bottle throwing at the ground moment Wenger style. FIFA this year at times make me feel like I'm playing Football Manager which is a good thing. lol

Just entered November and I sit top of Ligue 1, one point ahead of unbeaten PSG. Lost our first game of the season 1-2 to Bordeaux but bounced back to beat Toulouse 2-0. Our last game was a dramatic 2-2 draw away to Troyes. I rested some players for the UCL match in the week.

In the UCL we are 0-3-0 so far, the last game a 1-1 away to Zenit where Lacazette missed a last minute penalty. I need to pick up a result away to Monchengladbach in my next match.

In the Coupe de Ligue I went through on pens against Le Havre following a 4-4 draw. Gonalons levelled in the 90th minute to go to ET and Tolisso did the same in the 120th minute to go to pens.

No one is taking the mantle as a regular scorer, with Lacazette the brunt of my frustrations. In my head I've sold him for £55m next summer with Adil Mandi, Adrien Thomassen, Jordan Veretout, Alhassane Plea, Kevin Gameiro, Romain Hamouna and Breel Donald Embolo my top targets.
