Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
Well that makes it easier for me to decide what to do. My main concern was Rangers being good. I'm not worried about Celtic since I'll be controlling them.Comment

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
Any idea how the new dynamic budgets affect CPU based teams? Do they have to follow the same rules we do?
I'm curious what would happen for these scenarios:
1 - Put a BPL team in a lower league. Will they eventually fall apart as they can't afford to keep their stars?
2 - Swap in some lower teams into the BPL (with some bolstered rosters). Will they get the increased budgets and make BPL style acquisitions....or are they hard coded to acquire players of their initial caliber?Timeetyo

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
Hello,I'm new so not sure if this is the right thread, but I have a problem with the global scouting network in career mode.Basically,no matter which scouting instructions I use,my scouts claim not to be able to find anyone in any country I send them to.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Comment

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
I think it does, with a few exceptions. I know the budget carry-over is 25% of the end of season budget, not the starting budget. So if you started with $4M and ended with $250k your budget for next season will be some number + (0.25*250k). I haven't figured out what that "some number" is yet though.Any idea how the new dynamic budgets affect CPU based teams? Do they have to follow the same rules we do?

Additionally, there's a modifier based on how you finished in relation to your season objective, +5% for overachieving, +10% for significantly overachieving (not sure if these stack). So if you're league objective was "Finish Mid-Table" and you won the league what you would get for your next season's budget would be "some number" + [(0.25+.10)*250k].
As to how a team you move around would fare, I think that's mostly dependent on the transfer logic, which I don't think is very good. There's a minimum OVR rating of 75 which determines whether or not a transfer shows up in the news feed. With that it's hard to know what's happening with rosters, aside from the big teams & players, without recording the roster of EVERY team at the start of the season and comparing that to the end.
All that being said, here's what I've seen. I simmed about 7 seasons when trying to turn off firings with Pompey. I was literally trying to get the manager in the worst possible position with the board so I didn't conduct any transfers. I scrolled the calendar to June and let it roll. Over that time the CPU only brought in about 2-4 players, and that was only to maintain the roster minimum, none to make the team more competitive, and they weren't much better than the players they replaced. As a result I would end the season with most if not all of my starting budget so I was getting 25% of that. Somehow, I was able to achieve or exceed the objective the board set for me, and win tournaments so I was also getting one of the bonuses. Altogether this saw my budget go from about $2M in my first season to $57M at the start of season 6, with my roster barely changing.
To me it seems you would have to give them a budget to make them competitive in their league, but more importantly if the transfer logic is the same, you'll have to stack the team with talent to start, with the expectation that when they replace players they'll maintain that talent level. I'd have to do more testing, making tweaks to the game .inis but that's what it looks like.XBL GT: The Kingpin187Comment

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
Interesting. It's way too early to tell for me as I'm not through year 1, but I should get a good test. What I did was throw all BPL teams into a few Euro leagues (belgium, holland, switzerland, turkey) swapping them for the worst teams in each of those leagues. I then took in the best 92 non-european teams (including 'rest of the world') and stashed them into the EPL system.I think it does, with a few exceptions. I know the budget carry-over is 25% of the end of season budget, not the starting budget. Although at the top the BPL it isnt as strong, it is much more evenly balanced which should be interesting. FLC is very similar overall, and FL1 & FL2 are much better with the replaced teams.
I'm HOPING after year 1 the CPU does a decent job spending their bigger budgets in the new BPL....but if not oh well...it is balanced still and the Euro leagues are intact. If nothing else this gives me a RTG with vastly different scenery as these are all teams I rarely get to play.Timeetyo

Episode #16: HUGE PLAYER SOLD... WHAT HAVE I DONE?
In this episode, we try and sort out our funds as teams come swooping in for some of our big name players... and end up taking one. Who will be leaving the club? We also have matches against Newcastle in the BPL and West Brom in the FA Cup as we look to make a march towards our first piece of silverware.

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
I was wondering if you guys use the transfer system like the other CPU controlled teams? I try to stay in line with what other teams are doing and only transfer a couple of players. I know this isn't very realistic but it is what it is. I really hope they work on the transfer system for FIFA 17.Last edited by JayD; 12-03-2015, 01:50 PM.Comment

Episode #17: FIVE DEADLINE DAY SIGNINGS!!!
In this episode, we see a massive FIVE signings go through on deadline day, bringing in players all over the park from my own decisions as well as your suggestions! Have we upgraded the team to make a huge second half push? Let me know in the comments!
We also take on Bournemouth just before deadline day in a big matchup as we look to regain our form in the top 6 of the table.
Enjoy!

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
With Kaiserslautern in my 4th season Dragowski who I signed in my first season demanded a transfer because he was homesick. I got Bayern to agree to pay 52 mill for him, and then a few days later my board let me know that they sold him to chelsea for 30. What the hell this is so stupid they shouldn't force moves if you've already agreed to one. The board literally just lost the club 20 mill. UGGHGHHHGHHComment

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
In light of the new patch, and set N community sliders (which are BRILLIANT!), I decided to scrap my Arsenal MM, and start fresh--this time in the Bundesliga.
I'm not very knowledgeable about the league, outside of FCB and BVB, but I've decided to roll with BVB!
I have a page (http://www.dynastynationnetwork.com/...cer&u=JHedges2), but I also plan on starting a thread in the dynasty section on here too--hopefully to garner more interest.
Check on the new page, I spent A LOT of time updating on Saturday!Arsenal | New York YankeesComment

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
I have no idea how to pick a club. I like to take a club that at the start of the season may have been close to sacking their manager, but never did...
I'm soooo sick of taking a low level league team, but feel like I'm cheating by taking a higher league team. Everything else in between is a huge mess ha.@MikeLowe47 | YouTube | Discord
