Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*

Hi. Since I can't make a thread, I decided to post it here. Please move the post if this is the wrong section.
So basically, my PC broke down and took a month to get it fixed. In the meanwhile, I decided to install Fifa 16 on my laptop. I started 3-4 Career Modes on the laptop and played on it for a month while my PC was being repaired. Now my PC is fixed, I thought it would be easy to move the CM files from my laptop to PC. (Note: I have 2-3 CMS on my PC as well). But I tried and it didn't work. Apparently its not as easy to move CMS as it was in Fifa 13. So I'm stuck here. I tried copying the whole Fifa 16 folder of the laptop to the PC one, but I lost the saves which I had on my PC. Yes, I did have the backup of all of them. Then I decided to manually place the CM saves from the '0' folder of laptop to the PC. That didn't work either.
So my question is, is there a way to merge my laptop saves with the PC ones? So that I can have both, the PC saves as well as laptop ones on my PC. Any help would be great, thanks! I really enjoy the laptop saves so don't want to lose them, neither do I want to lose the PC ones.
So far the only solution I can see is to just keep copying the folder of the CMS which I want to play, like if I want to play the ones I had on my laptop, I have to copy the laptop Fifa 16 folder and if PC, then PC Fifa 16 folder.
I contacted EA help but they just told me to rewrite the folders. They themselves didn't have a solution.
    Thanks!

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*

For FIFA 16, I decided to go with Red Star FC as my Manager Mode team. They play in Ligue 2 in France, and were promoted as the champions of Championnat National (3rd Division) in 2014-15. The club is based in Paris, and is one of the main reasons why I chose to use Red Star as I feel it would be easier to attract players to play in a major city, than in a smaller town. I also like their home kits as it is rare for a club to have green home kits, so they do not often clash with the kits of opposing teams. My goal is to get the club back to Ligue 1, where they have not played in since 1974-75. The club plays its games out of the Stade Bauer (Town Park) which has a capacity of 10,000

The club does not start off with a large budget with just a $675,000 transfer budget, and $52,750 in wages. It is a 2.5 star club with 65 attack, 63 midfielders, and 66 defense. I like to use a 3-4-3 formation, so it will be difficult to purchase the players I need to implement my formation properly. I will mostly sign free agents, and players with less than 6 months left on their contracts to add depth to my squad. I will set up a youth academy where I will mostly develop young players from Canada (I want to be the manager of the Canadian national team, and it would be good to have some high potential youth players), and France if it is affordable. Wish me luck!

        Red Star FC
        2015-16 Season – Ligue 2
        Notable Free Agent Signings:
        Tosaint Ricketts (61 OVR)
        Esteban Dreer (69 OVR)
        Adam Straith (63 OVR)

        Standings
        1st Red Star FC – 87 points
        2nd Metz – 65 points

        Top Scorer Ligue 2
Ricketts (Red Star) – 21 goals
Lefaix (Red Star) – 20 goals

        Player of the Year
        Ricketts (Red Star)

        Goalkeeper of the Year
        Dreer (Red Star)

        European International Cup
Red Star FC 1-1 (8-7 penalties) Kilmarnock

        Coupe de Ligue
        Stade Rennais 2-1 Monaco

        Coupe de France
Olympique Lyon 0-0 (5-4 penalties) AS Monaco

        Champions League
        Barcelona 2-0 Manchester City

        Europa League
        PSG 3-1 Galatasaray

        Copa America
        Chile 2-1 Brazil

After a good pre-season tournament where Red Star FC took home the European International Cup, and $1,890,000 it was a better than expected start to the season. Red Star were consistently near the top of the table. However they were knocked out of the first round of the Coupe de Ligue by Nimes Olympique. As the holiday break approached, Red Star rose to the top of the table. As the season wore on, Red Star managed to slowly build their lead over the 5-6 clubs who were in serious contention for promotion. In the Coupe de France, Red Star had an incredible run all the way to the Quarter Finals, where they were put away by AS Monaco in a hard fought 1-0 defeat, where it was possible the French giants could be upset. With 4 games remaining, Red Star clinched the championship and ended the year on a 9 win run. Eventually FC Metz would win promotion with 1 game to spare over high quality squads from FC Lens, Evian, and AC Ajaccio.

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*

It’s early December 2015 and I just completed the 6th leg of the Champions League group stage (v. Bayern) with Arsenal. My results in the UCL have been less than impressive (as per real life…).

Previously, I was able to earn a draw with Bayern in Munich (1-1), but could not defeat them at home in a nearly must win game, losing 2-1 thanks to two goals from Müller. Thankfully, on the other side of the group, Olympiakos drew Atalanta and I am able to advance through to the knockout stage—needless to say, by the skin of my teeth!

Still going strong in the BPL at the top of the table, I now have an away fixture v. Aston Villa. Most of my first team is gassed from the desperation effort v. Bayern mid-week, so I’ll be using a less than top squad at Villa Park on Saturday. I hope to remain unbeaten in the league! (Though, for realism purposes, I’m ok with losing!)

Check out the updates and the knockout draw for the Champions League. I’ve drawn Bayer Leverkusen from the Bundesliga!

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*

                      Wow.

With three games remaining in my first season as Bournemouth I was feeling quite confident, sitting a couple of spots above the relegation zone.

                      My remaining fixtures were:
Everton (A) (2nd place in the league)
                      West Brom (H) (10th)
                      Man Utd (A) (Champions)

Not any easy fixtures by any means, but just a point could be enough for me to stay clear of the drop.

Let's see how I did, shall we?

                      Everton
I get off to a marvellous start as I score on a corner in just the third minute, but after a careless tackle by Callum Wilson I'm down to 10 men. Everton proceeds to take full control of the game and end up taking a 3-1 lead, but I do manage to get another goal during stoppage time. It's a 3-2 loss and I'm not safe yet.

                      West Bromwich
Alright, my top goalscorer (8 goals) is suspended, but I still got this.
Sure, the commentators have brought up the fact that I'm the worst home side in the league, but I still got this.
West Brom win 2-1, but I still go-

                      Manchester United
                      Table before the game:
                      17. Bournemouth 37p -13
                      18. Sunderland 34p -16
                      19. Southampton 34p -18

                      A point and I'm safe.
A loss and neither Sunderland nor Southampton win and I'm safe.
A one-goal loss and Sunderland only win by one and Southampton only win by three and I'm safe.

I'm down 2-0 heading into the break, and the commentators mention how I'll be relegated if the results stay the same. I take a look at the scores from the other matches and I see that Sunderland have a 2-0 lead (against Watford). Alright, things are starting to get rather desperate right about now.

Josh King puts the ball in the net, but he is in an offside position. Ah, come on!

                      BOOM!
                      BOOM!

Two goals later and the final whistle blows!
                      ...4-0.

                      Sunderland win 3-0.

I'm in the Championship, but I'm super excited to fight to get straight back up!

Be careful what you wish for.

I was sailing through the BPL, wrapping up November unbeaten in league play with Arsenal.

I closed out November with a draw to Sunderland (1-1), and have now lost 3 straight (2 BPL, 1 UCL)!

                            Lost at Villa Park 1-0.
Lost at The Emirates (Bayern) 2-1.
Lost at The Emirates (Man City) 1-0.

I've managed just 1 goal (garbage goal at the end of the Bayern game) in my past 3 fixtures, and have now relinquished the top spot on the table, and am down 1 point to MCI!

2 games left in December, away at Southampton on Boxing Day, and a home match 2 days later (WTH EA?) vs Bournemouth (12/28) before heading into the January window.

I've remained healthy all year, so I'm not sure what route(s) I will take in the Jan window...

I'm just about to get the game and I am planning on doing a Celtic MM. I want to put them in England because it feels more fun that way and was planning on adding Rangers too.

My problem is I did this in FIFA 14 putting Celtic in the Championship and Rangers in League 1 and while I progressed, Rangers never got out of League 1. I want to play against them eventually in the PL.

Any suggestions as to what league I should put each team in to allow both of them succeed?

You might have to make some changes to Celtic's squad to make them more competitive, as well as giving them an appropriate budget.
