Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*

So quick little update to my Chelsea MM that is midway through year 2. Arsenal ended up winning the league title in year 1 by a good 8 points. Currently I was down 6 points while winning against Sunderland 2-0 but blew the game and they tied and now I'm 8 back again from Arsenal (midway January). Manchester City is 7 points behind them.

Arsenal have kept their squad intact while bringing on Marco Verratti last season and Jérôme Boateng last summer and continue to be dominating. I brought in during the winter transfer window Koke and Isco so let's see what happens.

What's funny is despite Arsenal being low key in the transfer market, they've dominated. Meanwhile Manchester United have brought in the likes of Cavani, Ribery, Kroos, and some other big name and are currently 6th and finished 5 last year.

*Arsenal Update* Just updated the Arsenal page pretty thoroughly. Last update for a bit, as we are welcoming our third child tomorrow am--so I'll be out of the updating for a bit.

Midway through December, won my UCL group and drew Real Madrid in the knockout stage--that should be fun...

Currently sitting 2nd on the table behind City who are absolutely rolling (12-2-0).

Also have taken over the English National Team, and were routed by Russia in my first friendly fixture. Game was one of those FIFA head scratchers. Anyway, enjoy the update, and thanks for following along

It was an exciting time to live in Canada, as the nation qualified for its first World Cup since 1986! The country was hoping it would fare better than its last performance, when they finished last in their group with 0 goals scored. Most felt if the Canadians played to the same quality as their qualifying matches against top competition, they could compete to make it out of the group. Manager Martin wanted to make it to the round of 16 if possible.

Canada was drawn in a tough group against top 10 Belgium, Norway, and a tricky Chilean side. In the first match against Belgium, Canada won an unexpected penalty in the 24’, which was put away by Atiba Hutchinson, their first goal in a FIFA World Cup! Canada would go on to win the game 3-1, with the Belgians pressuring late to tie ended up creating a counter attack resulting in the final tally. Canada had an easier time against Norway where 3 first half goals sealed the victory early on in the 3-0 win. Belgium and Chile drew meaning Canada reached their goal of making the round of 16! Canada defeated Chile 2-0 to finish on top of Group B.

In the round of 16, Canada would face Cristiano Ronaldo and his powerful Portuguese side. Many tuned in on July 7 that morning to TSN to watch the historic fixture. It was an overall dull first half that ended 0-0. However early in the second half, the Canadian defenders lost their shape allowing Ronaldo the opportunity to waltz into the box and strike a shot past Occean making it 1-0 Portugal. Before they knew what hit them Portugal struck again from well outside the box to go up 2-0! After the goals, Canada dug deep and peppered the Portuguese net with shots getting within one in the 78’, but it was too late as midnight struck on the Cinderella Canadians run. They left with their heads held high as they managed to play strongly against one of the best sides in the world, and managed to get the country excited about soccer possibly leading to better World Cup results in the future. Portugal would go on to lose in the World Cup Final against Italy.
Were the USA and Mexico in this World Cup also? I'm just wondering if it's like in years past where all of the CONCACAF teams get into the World Cup since there aren't that many of them. I haven't seen ANY WCQ matches, it's just nothing but friendly matches. I'm in November of 2016 in my Notts County MM but also manage the USMNT and didn't want to miss out on the World Cup somehow in the next 18 months or so.

Yes, the three CONCACAF nations automatically qualify for the World Cup. Unfortunately, there are no qualifying games and you just play friendlies against other non UEFA or South American countries while their qualifying tournaments are played. It would be a lot more fun if you had to qualify through the Hex to get to qualify for the World Cup. Really all EA would have to do is add Costa Rica, Honduras, and Jamaica (and maybe Trinidad and Tobago, Panama, El Salvador, Cuba, Nicaragua, etc. to make it more fun).

This isn't always true. In my current cm I am managing Canada and was excluded from the wc completely.

With the start of the Skybet Football League One season among us, The Posh have ben widely predicted for a top 6 finish with a mixture of the fines of Chris Forrester, the power of Shaun Brisley, and the raw speed of Soulemanye Coulibaly. Peterborough have added in some talent via loan as Harry Toffolo(Norwich City) and Lawrie Wilson(Bolton Wanderers) are holding down the fullback positions nicely but Martin Samuelsen still has not quite looked comfortable in the Peterborough line up. The 18 year old is on loan from West Ham and an impressive 6'2 frame but has not looked impressive thus far as a Wingman, Samuelsen may get the chance to see the pitch again in the upcoming Capitol One cup match scheduled just two days after Peterborough's opening day clash against Gillingham.

Hello all, after following everyone on here for so long (especially Moose on YouTube for the past 2 years) I decided to make my own career and keep track of it all. I just figured out how to work everything on Dynasty Nation and just updated my page. I will be continuing to update this with highlights for all my future matches.

Season 1 with Tottenham, I won the European Continental preseason tournament, beating Torino in the final.

The EPL season started off rough, drawing at Man U and vs Stoke city and then losing 3-1 to Leicester City away. I have made up a little ground beating Everton and Sunderland but then dropped points to bottom of the table Crystal Palace in my latest match.

Next up is Leeds United in the Capitol One Cup.

                                Current careers:
