Look at the acres of space they give the cpu.

Is this how ea gets the cpu to generate offense?

Here I am kroos, the only player actively playing the ball. The least my players could do is maybe mark someone in the box?

I can give examples forever of the cpu actively marking and playing sound D on their end yet it all flies out the window when my team defends.

It's quite clear EA only test this game tester v tester or dev v dev. Human v human.

I just can't see them ever playing vs the AI and going yes, this is terrific, job done.

Yeh, you can do that in all sports games. How is NBA 2k more interesting with its 30 teams and salary cap (such a dull and boring landscape)....

You cannot really compared the two, one is trying to earn as much money as possible and then purchase players (I use Portsmouth FC and try to lead them to the top of EBL which will take a few years), I start with little money, and I have to find ways to earn and save up which is basically winning, winning, then ask for more money from the BOD, ask for even more money.

As for 2K, it is so different because you sort of have to do some math, especially before and during the off season, you have to plan ahead of how much they will be asking for and then giving them according to the salary situation you are currently in...

In career mode you can also build your youth academy and sell them off for profits. Or buy good young players from other clubs and sell them off after they grow in market value.


The problem with NBA 2k is that they have all these systems, but it really is built on a faulty foundation. The only way you can build a team is by tanking for draft-picks or unrealistically trading for cap space or draft picks. Nothing is consequential in 2ks gm mode -- it's all fluff.

Is so hard for me to build players off youth academy, first of all, I hate using fake faces players, so even if I sign them I won't use them much, maybe in cups that I don't care results, and also, the players from youth academy are rated so badly, like you cannot use them to help the team at all, you get me?

That's really not it. I've left on default world class and the new patch makes this fifa about as bad as it gets due to all the issues that have been pointed out already regardless default or with sliders.

Even with sliders I can't play this game anymore. Even on pro now it's so unrealistic. The CPU players do things the human team will not do. Like make supporting runs, or actually mark their players. Not to mention the ping pong the minute you get 5 yards near them.

I've never really been aggravated by patches in the past while others would have huge problems with some of changes.

But, this one patch there is no way anyone can honestly say the offline games are better and truly believe it. It's a chore for me to get through a game. It plays semi decent in my hull career where everyone is horrible but still a lot of issues. In Newcastle and Inter careers it's just unplayable now.

This is default world class , maybe there's sliders but I'm of the mindset I didn't pay $60 to try and find and test a whole slew of sliders and hope one consistently eliminates the glaring holes with this new patch.

The video on FIFA's main menu about the patch should basically say "we've been getting feedback from the Ultimate Team community and have addressed the issues you've stated." It's very pathetic.

That's what I mean )) there should be no sliders and no difficulty levels, just teams with their individual tactics, game style, players individuality, etc...in that case it would be simulator. Increasing difficulty by making CPU teams pass and shoot ideally is not the right way, I think. Football is not a tetris, where shapes fall faster and faster...))))

This game was playing very well for the first few months but now it feels like it has yet again been tailored to more of an arcade feel and towards the online community. Defense has been dumbed down, fouls have been drastically reduced, CPU doesn't build up plays and the game as a whole just feels like it's been sped up. I was enjoying this game, minus the lack of career mode improvements and fixes, but I have quickly lost interest as the game progressed between all these patches. It just feels like EA released the game with the idea of having more of a sim feeling but knew they would patch it towards the online community later. Thoughts?

Bingo. I've been so frustrated with the game lately. Literally no fouls called in my favor. Seems like there is a magnet on the CPU's boots. I'm having the hardest time scoring goals.

It's just non stop pressure from cpu now, and if you get a shot on goal not blocked the goalies become Spiderman or you hit the post.

As Inter, since patch I've played Empoli and Sassaulo. Which apparently have Messi, Iniesta, boateng, agnonlohor hybrids in every position of the pitch - and Neuer in the goal.

Meanwhile I have players with Pirlos speed and rannochia's brain dead marking.

And just when you couldn't think it would get worse, player ability to control air balls and the player's running away from air balls got much much worse.

I can't stop myself from bitching everyday about how bad the patch is. It's so bad that complaining every day is about only accomplishment and sense of feeling I get out of the game now.

I'd love to meet the people who played the patch before releasing and thought it was good enough to release, and then I'd love to proceed to punch them right between the eyes

Yes, the demo is best. I play version 1.03 (the supposed best version before patch 4&5 ruined it) of the full fifa game w/ slider adjustments to knock the pace down, but today I went back to play the demo and on default Slow w/ no slider adjustments the game feels so much more weighty and slower! It's insane how much better the demo is. Whoever made the demo needs to make fifa 17.
