I'm on the PS4 so I just take a screenshot with the "share" button, go to the gallery, copy them to a flash drive, go on my computer, upload them to postimages.com and then I just paste them into the update.

Just heard back that those two boxes are gone for good. No point worrying about that since it's past fixing. Anyway, I plan on starting another Parma career when I get to Russia, this time with no financial Jesus. Salvation will come in the form of ownership by the fans, or so the storyline will go. I will also be implementing a philosophy inspired by the Barcelona-Juventus match. The brief should be up in a few minutes.

So as I simulate games most the time, occasionally playing one if I'm bored, I've taken notes of the important stuff that's happened and I'm in February already [emoji23][emoji23] looks like I could finish writing a season down for you guys within a week, updating once a day

So I got a question. I ain't going to rant but, I'll make it short.

All my life I have played football and there have been times when I have played in a really high level, and times like now that I am playing in a lower level. Yet my question today is, how do you guys deal with losing? Doesn't have to be sport, maybe life in general. How do you deal with not succeeding etc.?

I just put the hurt into a imaginary bottle so to speak and every time I play again I'll remember what it feels like and that gives me extra motivation to not lose again, especially finals. This mostly applies to Hurling/Garlic Football as I don't care for football much. [emoji3]

                I don't. I never lose.

Let's see... uhm, I either deny the loss and create my own little fantasy OR I let it sink in, think about it for a while, do something that pulls my attention away from it, remember that it's just a game/it's nothing that serious (if it's not a big thing. For example getting fired is a whole another thing) and that's it.

By the way, what happened? There has to be a reason for this question.

                  PARMA REBORN

It is summer 2014, and fans of Parma Football Club are tired of watching their beloved club get tossed around like some sort of millionaires' plaything. A supporter-authorised collective raises funds to buy the club and its assets from Tomasso Ghirardi, while local businessmen contribute more significant sums to pay off tax dues. The club is entered into administration and declared bankrupt, though a favourable petition from other Serie A member clubs prevents them from being relegated prior to the 2014-15 season. Parma supporters then elect a group of officials including Hernan Crespo as head of development and Roberto Donadoni as director of football to ensure that the club never again racks up the unpayable debts it did under Ghirardi. After taking a page out of the Germans' book and placing control of the club back in their own hands, Parma fans look forward to a fresh start as Brighton & Hove Albion assistant coach Indi Blue is put in charge of leading the club's on-field rebirth.

                  4-3-3

The 4-3-3 is a versatile formation popularised by Dutch coach Rinus Michels and legendary football intellectual Johan Cruyff as a way to cover every part of the pitch. Its favourable structure make it easy for players to swap positions, forming the basis of what came to be known as Total Football. Even today, the 4-3-3 is the cornerstone of how many teams play football, including almost every Dutch club. But perhaps the most famous and most successful 4-3-3 proponent around today is Barcelona, who are able to exert influence on every part of the pitch with exceptional players in a dynamic and fluid 4-3-3. I have decided to restore Parma's reputation using this formation, and I hope it remains part of the club's lasting philosophy and ethos.

                  SPINE+2

We will name a 23-man squad of two goalkeepers, eight defenders, six midfielders, six forwards and one utility man to compete in Serie A and the Coppa Italia. The philosophy of Spine+2 is essentially a way to ensure stability and strength on the core areas of the pitch and in our tactical system. Both goalkeepers, all four central defenders, both defensive midfielders and both strikers will be Italian. As well as these 10, at least two others in any positions must also be Italian. There's no upper limit on how many Italian players can be in the squad; this is simply a minimum requirement. The point of Spine+2 is for nucleus of the team to remain in touch with the spiritual aspects of the club i.e. the fans and philosophy. It also ensures that the majority of the 23-man squad is Italian. This plan must be implemented by September 1, 2016.

                  SQUAD RULES

                  • Maximum squad size of 23 players
                  • Minimum of 12 Italian players out of 23
                  • Maximum of 11 non-Italian players out of 23
                  • Maximum of 5 non-EU players out of 11
                  • Minimum of 3 academy graduates out of 23
                  • Rules effective from September 1, 2016

                  TRANSFER POLICY

                  • Scouting of players is restricted to certain nationalities unless outstanding talent presents itself at the right price. Italy players receive first priority, and England players will be considered on basis of manager's nationality. Netherlands, Brazil and Argentina players will be considered due to their historical presence in Serie A. Players from other EU member states will be considered due to geopolitical reasons.

                  • The summer 2014 transfer window will be disabled in order to simulate the situation at Parma as the club recovers from its staggeringly enormous debt and the ensuing declaration of bankruptcy. Only sales, loans and free transfers can take place during the winter 2015 window. Absolutely no paid transfers can be made until summer 2015.

                  • A player who refuses a contract extension because he's not happy with the deal will get up to two subsequent offers on better terms. A player who refuses an extension because he isn't sure of remaining at the club will be given one subsequent offer to change his mind. A player who refuses an extension because he wants to leave at the end of his existing deals will be sold, as will anyone who gets homesick or forces a move via media.

                  WAGE STRUCTURE

                  • The 18 players who comprise the first-choice starting eleven and substitutes are the first team. A first-team player will earn between €30,000 and €100,000 per week based on factors such as age and squad role, as well as how much he earned prior to joining Parma. The five players in the reserves will earn between €5,000 and €20,000 per week based on factors such as age, squad role and experience. Academy players will always be promoted on €5,000 contracts but automatically jump to €20,000 per week after a breakout season.

                  HOUSE RULES

                  • There will be absolutely NO simulating of games. We play our way to the top.
                  • There will be no restarts, no rage quits, and no forfeits.
                  • Aside from the main save file, a separate one will be created on the first of each month to prevent data loss or corruption.

This is actually a really good question. Dealing with a loss or failure in life is extremely important in order to maintain emotional and mental equilibrium. As a former professional athlete, I've been in situations where I have had to deal with rejection and loss... sometimes at the same time. You want to get away from it as soon as possible, especially if it's a cup final that you've worked for all season long. Having close family ties helps. My particularly strong bonds with my dad and brother have helped a lot. My old man and I would often go fishing the day after I had a big loss, or my brother and I would catch a couple of movies and spend time at the arcade. Having a job or course of study away from sport is helpful as well, especially if you are doing a professional degree and have a dissertation or thesis to work on. I know Lilian Thuram used to pour himself into literature after a loss, and Paolo Maldini would sometimes actually leave Milan and spend time at Lake Como. As for general life stuff, that's often tougher to deal with than losing a game on the pitch or maidan. For me, dealing with the end of my marriage was much harder than coping with any cup final I've ever lost, or even being kicked out of the Indian national team setup. Death, however, is not something you can deal with easily or even prepare for.

I just started a new career with Hamburger today, Forest just lost it's spark. I think I just need to get out of England for a bit. I chose them because they've never been relegated and only barely survived this season. They also have some very nice kits, a proper stadium and the squad is fairly OK. Intro should be up soon.

                            Defender of the Season
                            (inspired by Bluey)

                            Nicolas Otamendi

The Argentinian was Valencia's best defender this season by a large margin. Especially in the beginning of the season Otamendi made amazing tackles and clearances every game. He's a very well rounded defender and he could leave for a big sum of money in the summer.

                            Midfielder of the Season

                            Dani Parejo

The captain of the team did an amazing job in the middle of the pitch for Valencia. A three-month injury slowed him down a bit but he was still able to create nineteen goals. The brain of the midfield just extended his contract by two years which means that he's staying in the sunny city of Valencia.

                            Attacker of the Season

                            Sofiane Feghouli

Sofiane Feghouli was superior to his opponents on Valencia's right wing this season as he scored and assisted a total of 21 goals. The Algerian was the Bats' biggest offensive threat at all times and he finished a very consistent season by becoming the top assister of the league.

Cool, it's just more interesting if you play the games yourself. At least the ones against okay teams. I myself usually simulate cup games against bad teams from lower leagues.

This is your third Parma career if I'm not mistaken. You know what they say, third time's a charm. Hopefully this time everything goes fine. I'm looking forward to this!

Also, I admire the way you always come up with these rules and restrictions and what not.

Sorry I haven't posted any updates or replied to anybody's career in past few days. I left town to go to my cousin's wedding which was great fun. I think that I have caught up and read everyone's updates. I will be posting an update pretty soon and then hopefully two more before I leave again to go on vacation with my family Wednesday.
