    Journey to the Top

    February 2016

    League Two
    Wimbledon 0-2 Accrington
    81' Morgan, 90' Windass

Morgan opened the scoring, reacting first to head in the rebound from Kee's shot. A superb team move then sealed the game in the dying moments. A kick out from Mooney was flicked onto Kee by Morgan and then the Northern Irish striker played Windass in first time. Windass then struck it sweetly across the keeper after taking it to the edge of the box.

    FA Cup Replay
    Bradford City 1-3 Accrington (AET)
    90' Sheehan
    18' McCartan, 98' 105' Gornell

In a ridiculous fixture list, we played Bradford the very next day, yes the NEXT DAY. McCartan took advantage of a bad header back to give us the lead but a last minute goal from Sheehan sent the game into extra time. Despite the tired legs we pulled away thanks to two goals from Terry Gornell, set up by Adelakun and Kee.

    Promoted
Shaun Obita RW 16 52 Ovr

    League Two
    Accrington 2-0 Stevenage
    32' Morgan, 90' McCartan

Shaun Obita made his professional debut on the right wing today before later moving infield to occupy the No. 10 position. The youngster showed some promising touches and offered a glimpse of what's to come for the Accrington faithful. Our two strikers then did the damage, Morgan scoring just after 30 minutes and McCartan wrapping it up late on.

    League Two
    Accrington 0-1 Leyton Orient
    73' McCallum

First place hosted the team in fourth who possessed the league's top scorer in Jay Simpson. It was also the battle of the diamonds, a diamond wide for Accrington and a narrower version for Orient. A deadly counter attack in the end lost it for us. The defence was at sixes and sevens trying to scramble back before McCallum inevitably scored the crucial goal.

    FA Cup
    Accrington 0-0 Derby County

After dispatching Liverpool two rounds previous we had no fears coming into this game. Derby had the lions share of possession but didn't really create much, only Baird's header off a corner and Mooney made a good save down low with another near post header. On our side, we didn't make many opportunities either, Kee having to stretch to get our best one on target.

    League Two
    Wycombe 0-0 Accrington

I don't even feel like writing about this one, we were horrible......

    League Two
    Exeter City 1-1 Accrington
    81' Nicholls
    73' Morgan

I thought we had it won when Morgan tucked away Windass' ball over the top but alas it was a third draw in a row. Winnard completely missed an easy header leaving the ball drop to Nicholls in the box and he was never going to do anything but score.

    League Two
    Accrington 2-1 Morecambe
    19' Windass, 78' McCartan
    34' Miller

A much needed win that ends our run of draws. Windass opened the scoring after Gornell supplied the first of his two assists. Morecambe were level before the break however, Miller latching onto an inch perfect through ball that cut open our defence to score his 10th league goal. A switch to a 4-3-3 Attack from our recently ineffective 4-1-2-1-2 yielded the winning goal. Youngster Obita created it, controlling Proctors long pass with his chest while battling Wilson before nutmegging Edwards. The ball then broke loose to Gornell who fizzed a first time pass into McCartan and the 21 year old took his chance really well.

    SkyBet Football League Two
    1. Accrington 66
    2. Notts County 65
    3. Portsmouth 62

    4. Northampton 55
    5. Leyton Orient 54
    6. Mansfield Town 53
    7. Oxford United 51

    23. Newport County 32 (look where they'd be without you Rabbit!)
    24. Yeovil 30

Well, we've regained top spot although Notts are really making it tough for us and Portsmouth aren't too far away. The playoffs are also really close with only four points separating fourth from seventh. Unfortunately Rabbit is struggling over at Rodney Parade and is looking a shoe in for relegation to the non leagues along with Yeovil.

Thanks for reading and this is most likely my last update before I go, the suspense for the end of the season shall have to build for three weeks!

I haven't been able to keep up with all your videos but watched this one and saw you got Pjanic and Roberto! Two class midfielders that are bringing your team to the next level. Sure the prices were a bit hefty but I'm confident they'll repay every penny and Sergi "fine head of hair" Roberto is already on his way to doing that. You dominated your two opening games but my God, Lacazette's finishing was awful. Dybala showed him how to do it and the gave a great cross to Roberto so he could use his "great head of hair" and score. Great to see Masana get his first goal for the club.

Imo I'd go for Rondon as your backup, he's a proper beast up front and has Prem experience which is invaluable. Slightly older too which is also nice considering Lacazette and Dybala are still young.

VfB Stuttgart Aspire Promotion Back to the Bundesliga

Not too long ago in 2007, VfB Stuttgart celebrated winning the Bundesliga. Instead of becoming a title-challenger as optimistic fans hoped, the following nine years turned slowly into a nightmare and an endless fall from grace. The team still managed to qualify for European competitions a handful of times in those years, but since 2012 nothing has gone their way. Starting from that season, Stuttgart failed to finish in the top eleven of the league every single time and finally, on the final matchday of last season, the team got relegated into the Bundesliga 2 after a turmoil in management in the last years, including the resignation of club president Berndt Wahler and the sacking of coach Jürgen Krammy after relegation was confirmed.

This turmoil is still going on as the club still hasn't announced a new president or a director of sports. However, the board of VfB Stuttgart announced a new head coach and the man who will take charge of Stuttgart is their reserve team coach Simon Müller. The appointment leaves a lot to be desired for amongst supporters since the reserve side got relegated under the command of the 42-year-old last season. According to the local press, Müller signed a one-year contract.

The Stuttgart native has been part of the club for three decades as Müller used to go to every home game as a child with his father. He witnessed the team lift the Bundesliga trophy twice, first in 1984 and then in 1992, a year before joining the team's reserve team. Unfortunately for him, Müller's career never took off and he spent the majority of it playing in the lower leagues before his career came to a shocking end due to a horrendous knee injury in 2001. He never lost his love his football, though, and in 2005 he got a job at the football club he had always loved as a U15 coach. In the following ten years Müller rose through the ranks all the way to the head coach position which he was appointed as a week ago.

"Since I can remember, Stuttgart has been part of my life. I loved the club as a child and a supporter, I loved it as an adult and a player, and I still love it as a coach. I know the last few years have been rough for both me and the club and that is why I ask everyone to stay strong and have just a little bit more of patience. This club deserves to play top football and we strongly believe that we will play top football again soon. Our only target for this season is to achieve promotion back to the Bundesliga where we belong, and we can do that only with your help. We are beginning a long process towards the Bundesliga title, but together we can do it. We need your support, and only together we can make it back to the top", Müller wrote on the club's website after his appointment.

Timo Werner, 19 years old, 74 ovr
Jan Kliment, 22 years old, 68 ovr

          Key Players

          Serey Die

The defensive midfielder is a strong presence in defence and he is expected to be Stuttgart's key defensive player after a horrendous defensive performance by the team last season which lead to them conceding 75 goals. The 30-year-old Ivorian is a strong tackler and he has a strong shot as witnessed by Hertha BSC last season.

          Filip Kostic

One of Stuttgart's more exciting players is the 21-year-old winger Filip Kostic who was one of their best players during the disappointing campaign of last season. The pacy Serbian is a good dribbler and he adds a lot to the Stuttgart attack. It will be hard for Stuttgart to keep him in the second division.

          Timo Werner

Timo Werner is one of Germany's brighest attacking talents. The striker/winger is known for his lightning-fast speed and good finishing abilities. The 19-year-old is a valuable asset in Stuttgart's attack and he has the potential to become a world-class star.

Here it is, the introduction post of the Stuttgart career as voted by you! I hope you enjoy my journey back to the top of Germany.

Thank you for reading this post! I hope you have enjoyed it! Any feedback or suggestions will be appreciated!

            THE LEAGUE

            My thoughts

So many games! - It is just ridiculous. 7 games this month, followed by 7 (two international ones) next month. The squad is getting heavily rotated, which is a good thing obviously, with plenty of players getting minutes, yet, there are injuries involved with that.

League performances - So, I haven't beaten Aston Villa in this CM ever, 3 games, 3 losses, f-em. It is still really early days, so you can't really make a solid decision on how things will play out, but so far, we are doing pretty well. Not a lot of confidence, while playing, something is not right, but luckily, there is still time.

CL? - First game, a sad tie as Karius saved the shot into his first net. Second game, I thought Legia would be tougher, since they beat Villarreal in their first game, but a rotated squad gave them hell.

Injuries? - There have been a few short ones, with Lukaku missing some time and McCarthy aswell, but the biggest one game in the end of the month, as Barkley is out for 4 weeks with a sprained ankle.

Next Month? - Obviously, the next month will feature the first International games, so you will find out what team I picked!

League games, we will play both Manchester United and Crystal Palace away from home, and host the Merseyside derby at home.

Cup games, our third game in the Champions League will be against Villarreal at home, and there will also be a COC game against Bristol City, away from Goodison Park.

So, I hope you enjoyed it and take care!

Simp, I love Stuttgart, I don't know if you remember that I played with them aswell, and Maxim was a gem for me!

Keano, you are doing really well, I hope you can make the push to the next league, but I guess I will have to wait for that. I am really sorry if I missed it, but where are you heading? Also, Newport is struggling!

Moose, that 4-4-2 seems to be working for you, sigh. I don't even know where you could put Payet with that formation, I have no idea how Antonio played against Watford, since I didn't see him at all basically.

As for strikers, go really young imo (Solanke, Rashford) or a bit older, is Vardy still decent?

Rabbit, you are stepping up with Newport so quickly, you will be in Prem in no time! It seems like the tactics are working for you and the team you have built is working well together. I wish you the best of luck with Finland aswell!

Yeah we should definitely get an automatic promotion spot but I really want some silverware to me my first so we'll be going all out for the league. Rabbit has lost the plot!

I'm heading off to the Gaeltacht for three weeks. We have to speak all in Irish, no English allowed! It'll be good craic though.

I remember it well! Ibisevic did very well for you but then you decided to sell him if I recall correctly. After that he helped Hertha finish seventh last season :P

As far as your career goes, you had a good October, especially considering that the month was full of games. You don't seem to depend on Lukaku and Barkley that much anymore which is always a positive. Very good job so far this season, although I'm really starting to worry about your results against Aston Villa.

I will leave the rest of you some feedback in the next couple of days!

                      MOTM: Davis

Match Summary: Townsend got the ball on the left side and spun around his defender heading into the middle and laid it off for Davis running in on the right side for the first time finish past the keeper. David had the ball in the midfield and turned up field to play a beautiful through ball for Wallace running towards the right side of the goal and he fired a shot that was saved by the keeper but it was strong enough to keep bouncing behind him and cross the line. Abraham got the ball at the top of the box and he quickly played it off for Woolford running towards the left post and he fired it across the goal for the great far post finish. Townsend got into the box and beat his man forcing him to take him down from behind for the penalty. Abraham was the man to step to the spot and convert into the top right corner.

                      MOTM: Davis

Match Summary: The Blades starting testing the keeper out early and often and it took only until the 32nd minute when Davis intercepted a pass just outside of the box and took it inside to beat the keeper inside the right post. Woolford beat his man on the left wing and he sent a cross to the back post where a West Brom player attempted to chest it to his keeper but it fell instead to Abraham in the middle and he didn't waste the gift and tucked it inside the left side of the goal. Zambrano caught the defense off guard and pounced on a ball inside of the box finding Morrison running at the top and he powered it across to the top left corner to make the game interesting, but this game was always going to be United's to win from the first whistle.

                      Sheffield United 2 - 0 Wolverhampton
                      SHU - Flynn 34', Cameron 44'
                      MOTM: Long

Match Summary: Sharp got the ball outside of the box and played it through on the right side and the keeper came out to attack it but Flynn was able to get there a half step earlier and chipped it over the sliding keeper for the opening goal. Cameron got a ball over the top going down the left wing and he beat his man to get into box and worked his way to the left post before hitting a shot that guy some help off of a defender and changed directions past the keeper and in.

                      Sheffield United 1 - 0 Brighton
                      SHU - Abraham 33' (PEN)
                      MOTM: Stockdale

Match Summary: Stockdale played the game of his life in the Brighton goal but it was his own defense that hurt him in the end. Woolford was bowled over in the box while protecting the ball and the referee pointed to the spot. Abraham stepped calmly to the spot and then powered the shot into the top right corner for the only shot of the night to get past the keeper.

                      Sheffield United 1 - 0 Birmingham City
                      SHU - Davis 12'
                      MOTM: Davis

Match Summary: Morrison's touch got away from him and Townsend took the ball from him to go through on goal. He drew the keeper out to him before sliding it across for Davis running in on the far post to tap it into the open net.

                      Bournemouth 1 - 2 Sheffield United
                      BOU - Gosling 73'
                      SHU - Abraham 48', Baxter 90'
                      MOTM: Long

Match Summary: Abraham got the ball on the breakaway and ran at the defense using some close touches to weave through the last line and slot the ball low inside the left post. Hogg crossed the ball in from the left and picked out Gosling who's initial header was pushed away by the keeper but he stayed with it and finished up the rebound to tie the game back up. With time running out Baxter cut in from the left side and fired a shot off the post that fell to Campbell-Ryce who crossed it back in first time and found Baxter who redirected it out of the air and past the keeper for the winner.

                        Transfer Deadline News
Hull City sign 20yr RM Serge Gnabry on loan from Arsenal with an option to buy at the end of the season.

                        Monthly Summary
Not a bad first month overall. Ending with a good form of run by advancing in the Capital One Cup and by beating Arsenal. Injuries are looking concerning as so far nothing major has happened but smaller injuries are piling up.

Finishing the first month in 7th place is a good place to be as we are still trying our different formations and tactics to find a style that fits.

                        Thanks for reading!

                          Transfers Out

Mart Ristl, Defensive Midfielder, 59 Ovr,
                          2-year-loan to Lugano

The young defensive midfielder has a solid potential and he could be a useful depth player in the future.

                          Borys Tashchy, Striker, 61 Ovr,
                          €345,000 to Lugano

He simply isn't good enough to play for a team of Stuttgart's status.

Matthias Zimmermann, Right Back, 68 Ovr, €1,100,000 to RB Leipzig

Poor potential and four other right backs in the team were the main reasons for selling Zimmermann.

Florian Klein, Right Back, 70 Ovr, €1,400,000 to FC Kaiserslautern

He was getting older, he has a poor-ish overall and we have better right backs in the squad.

                          Transfers In
There's a lot of them. This image sums up how I felt after the window:
                          Spoiler

                          Maximilian Mittelstädt

64 Ovr, Left Back, 18 Years Old, Germany

Season Loan + €900,000 Buy Option

Many Stuttgart supporters were angry at their team when the loan of Maximilian Mittelstädt was confirmed. The team has already got two good-quality left backs in Emiliano Insua and Philipp Heise, but for one reason or another the club decided to loan in another fullback. The 18-year-old Mittelstädt made his Bundesliga debut for Hertha BSC against Bayern München last season and since then the young defender has showed glimpses of potential. If the youngster performs well for Stuttgart, they can activate his buy clause for €900,000. Only time will tell whether Mittelstädt will become an important member of the team or a complete flop.

                          Christian Pulisic

65 Ovr, Right Midfielder, 16 Years Old, United States

Season loan + €1,500,000 Buy Option

Unlike in the case of Mittelstädt, the signing of the young winger gem Christian Pulisic is an exciting one for Stuttgart fans. The teenager made his breakthrough in a Borussia Dortmund shirt last season when he also became the fourth-youngest Bundesliga scorer ever. Pulisic is a fast and skillful player with loads of potential and if Stuttgart wish to buy him at the end of the season, he can become a real star for the team and for the American national team, which he has already played for.

                          Duje Caleta-Car

67 Ovr, Centre Back, 18 Years Old, Croatia

                          €800,000 + Philipp Mwene

Another young talent who VfB Stuttgart can add to their list of signings is the 18-year-old central defender Duje Caleta-Car who joined the German team from Red Bull Salzburg in Austria. Caleta-Car became a valuable member of the Salzburg defence last season and he even made it into Croatia's provisional Euro squad last summer. The all-rounded defender will be hoped to improve Stuttgart's horrendous defence which conceded 75 goals last season. Additionally, the deal saw Stuttgart's Philipp Mwene move to Salzburg.

                          Koray Günter

68 Ovr, Centre Back, 21 Years Old, Germany

                          €1,500,000 + Stephen Sama

VfB Stuttgart continued rebuilding their defence with the third defensive signing of the summer. It came in the form of German central defender Koray Günter, who is a Borussia Dortmund youth product. Günter spent the last two years playing for Galatasaray in Turkey, though, and now he has made his long awaited return to Germany. Galatasaray received a million and a half plus reserve defender Stephen Sama in the deal.

                          Lukasz Zwolinski

69 Ovr, Striker, 22 Years Old, Poland

                          €2,300,000

Another position that Stuttgart decided to strengthen was their attack and the team began doing so with the signing of Polish striker Lukasz Zwolinski from Pogon Szczecin across the eastern border. The young Zwolinski has done well in the Polish league, hitting the net in around every third game he has played. Similarly to his compatriot Robert Lewandowski, Zwolinski will hope to make a big impact in Germany.

                          Johannes Flum

73 Ovr, Defensive Midfielder, 27 Years Old, Germany

                          €2,300,000

The spending spree of Stuttgart continued as they signed a back-up defensive midfielder to rotate with Serey Die. The man they chose for this role is Eintracht Frankfurt's Johannes Flum, who infamously fractured his kneecap in November last season and missed the remaining season. Frankfurt weren't ready to give him a lot of playing time this season and joining Stuttgart in a lower league was the best option for Flum, who is looking to regain his confidence.

                          Alexander Ring

70 Ovr, Central Midfielder, 24 Years Old, Finland

                          €2,500,000

VfB Stuttgart's crazy spending spree continued as now the club has signed a player for nearly every position there is. The most recent addition to the list of signings is the Finnish midfielder Alexander Ring, joining for two and a half million euros from fellow Bundesliga 2. side FC Kaiserslautern. The Finn hasn't made a huge impact for his side but he has been a valuable player in midfield. Ring is expected to be used as a rotational player.

                          Shawn Parker

70 Ovr, Striker, 22 Years Old, Germany

                          €2,500,000

Signing one striker wasn't enough for VfB Stuttgart as they also went ahead to buy Shawn Parker from Bundesliga side FC Augsburg. The 22-year-old attacker spent the majority of his Augsburg career playing for the reserve side and it is easy to see why he fancied a move to Stuttgart where he will get regular playing time. Furthermore, Parker has made a handul of appearances for Germany's youth teams.

                          Hany Mukhtar

70 Ovr, Attacking Midfielder, 20 Years Old, Germany

                          €3,300,000 + Jerome Kiesewetter

The most expensive signing VfB Stuttgart completed in the summer was bringing in the German 20-year-old attacking midfielder Hany Mukhtar from Red Bull Salzburg. The second signing who joins Die Roten from Salzburg used to play for Hertha BSC in the Bundesliga but he decided to leave the team due to lack of playing time. Now the midfielder with quick feet is looking to prove his old club wrong for letting him go.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

Before we begin, there's a small announcement for the photographers with us today. If we could keep the flash photography to a minimum during the press conference, that would be great. Otherwise, we're ready to begin. Shall we?

Good morning, Indi. Welcome to Nottingham and to Forest. James Pallatt from the Nottingham Post. This is your first managerial position. Does the pressure of managing a club with Forest's history and expectations affect you?

Of course it does. Of course. It ought to. I think managing any club brings a given measure of pressure. Managing the weight of expectations against what can realistically be achieved. That's not easy, and at a club of this size it becomes even more difficult. But that's the job. I knew what I was getting into before I signed the contract. Right now, my only concern is to help get this club back to the highest level of football where it belongs.

Joe Bernstein for the Daily Mail. Your development background could lead to expectations that you will integrate Forest's academy players into the first team. Is this to be the case?

Absolutely. There are a couple of very talented boys in this squad. Ben Osborn is supremely confident on the ball from what I've seen, and then Tyler Walker has Forest running through his veins. Of course we don't want to see Ty in the team because of who his father is, but when your old man has played 356 games for this club and won 59 caps for England, you tend to have the passion that's required to cut it at the highest level. I'm just saying he has the requisite assets, but of course Ty needs to earn his way in like everyone else. We'll work with them to make sure they progress well.

Richard Gibson from The Independent. What are the club's plans for the transfer window?

For obvious reasons I'm not going to get into specifics. But we do have a general idea of what we need to do in order to get this squad to a level where we can compete for a place at the top end of the table. There are a few problem areas that need to be addressed, a couple where we might have people leaving. But I'm not a big fan of bringing in eight, nine or ten new players in the same window. You work with what you have, and then you add quality that will improve your team. Depth is another issue we have to look at. Making sure we're able to see out injuries and suspensions is a big part of what we're doing. At the same time, we don't want players to be on the sidelines all season long. So there's a balancing act to be done.

Daniel Taylor from The Guardian. The club cancelled its preseason tour to Spain where fixtures against Real Valladolid, Real Betis and Real Zaragoza were scheduled. Yet right now your players are getting ready to leave for a preseason camp in Belgium. What's the reasoning behind that?

Very simple. Belgium is closer and smaller. I didn't want the players to fly all the way to Spain and then travel long distances within the country. It was much easier to get to Belgium, and of course moving around within the country is easy with Antwerp, Brussels and Bruges all being an hour or so apart. You can't put enough emphasis on getting the preseason right. It's so important for players to have the right conditions to set them up for the rest of the season. This is when things like fitness, rest, nutrition and sharpness matter more than ever because you're setting the tone for the entire year to come. So the decision was taken to accept KV Mechelen's invitation to take part in their preseason tournament, primarily to get the players ready for the season in the right conditions but also to get the Forest name out and about across the continent.

Carl Channing from the BBC. Yesterday, Forest confirmed the signing of Danny Ings from Liverpool on a two-year loan deal. What is your take on this signing? Did you sign off on it, or was this a club decision similar to the transfers of Jamie Ward from Derby and Matthew Mills from Bolton?

Jamie and Matt were both signed by the club during that limbo phase when no manager was operating but the need to improve key areas of the squad were still present. Danny was one of the players we spoke about as soon as I came in, and we're delighted that a player of his quality and talent has chosen to be part of what we're trying to do at Forest. Both clubs were in discussions with the player over the move. Liverpool made it clear that they viewed Danny's long-term future with them, but admitted that it would be better for his development to spend the next couple of seasons at a club where he could play regularly in the first team. For his part, Danny was excited to be getting on with his development and showed no hesitation about dropping down a division despite having scored 11 goals last season in the Premier League. Needless to say, all of us at the club are delighted that Danny and Liverpool decided that the right place for him to be now is at Forest. The preseason tournament in Belgium will be the perfect way for Danny to meet his new teammates and find a groove ahead of the season.

Theodore Lyman for ESPN FC. Given everything you've just told us, is it safe to assume you will be using a 4-4-2 formation with Danny Ings and Britt Assombalonga forming a partnership up front?

Having a pair of strikers like Danny and Britt in the squad gives us options in attack. They can play together, one can play off the other as a second striker, or we can start with one and have the other come on as an impact player. I don't want to limit myself to just one shape, system or set of tactics when they give me the freedom to use so many. That's part of the reason we have these preseason games, so that we can experiment and play around with tactics without so much on the line. We'll be trying out the combinations and permutations out in Belgium to see what works.

There's time for one last question, and then I'm afraid we have to look into the preparations and details for the team's departure and stay in Belgium.

Maggie Bothroyd from Football Frenzy. With Leicester already in the Premier League and Derby having been on the verge of promotion for a few seasons now, how realistic would you say are the chances of all three East Midlands clubs being in the top flight together next year?

Wow, that's quite a loaded question. Well, we all saw how Leicester held on to their Premier League status last season. I think they've improved since with the signings of Andrej Kramarić, N'Golo Kante and Shinji Okazaki to name a few. Derby, as we all know, continue to have one of the strongest squads in the Championship. But whether all three of us are in the Premier League next season is down to many variables. We can only do what's in our hands, which is to win as many games as we can and get the promotion everyone at Forest wants. From there, it's up to both our neighbours to do their bit and perform similarly well. But I must admit, it would be a lovely thing to see, and absolutely fantastic for both the East Midlands and for English football in general. Let's hope Leicester and Derby can match us!

I'm really shooting myself in the foot right now. So my phone went haywire on me and wouldn't let me sign into my email. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal as I could just access it from my computer. Except the fact that All my Betis Updates for FIFA 15 were in my notepad which just so happens to be connected to my email. So now I have to go back and replay 4 months worth of games(which I don't mind doing but it's still frustrating nonetheless.)

Indi: Can't wait for Forest to really get going! Love your writing style as always and Forest have a great history and the club has always interested me. Definitely excited about your choice there.

Simppu: I always felt like you were one of the most active ones in the transfer windows and boy did you not disappoint. Lots of youth coming in, andI love the potential you are stockpiling. Love the Pulisic singing of course, but the two strikers, Zwolinski and Parker I thought were great moves as well. Both look to have the potential to be great all around forwards for you who can do a bit of everything up front. Stuttgart was a great choice to go with since they are loaded with young talent. Werner will be a monster for you.

Josh4: Wow did not see that comeback from Southampton coming! That was rough. Rough game against Swansea but getting that draw against United was an impressive result for sure. You absolutely destroyed Palace in the Capital One Cup and it looked like that momentum carried on into your Arsenal match as well. Overall it was a tough start, but you finished the month really strong.

Cruzerr: Up and down month, but the results were mostly good. You definitely ended the month well though with that 3-0 and then 2-0 win. You look like you should be good in your CL group especially with Villareal already losing one of their games. Excited to see how this years league campaign goes after you did well last year. My guess is that the title race will be close all season. Also, can't wait to see your international team!

Keano: The month looked to be shaping up really well but the last few matches could have been better. But still, you got to the top of the table and you kept yourself in the FA Cup to force a replay so I'd say it was pretty successful. I'm curious as to why you went ahead and promoted Obita? Did he ask to be called up?

Moose: I haven't been able to watch one of your updates in a while and I hate it! I always watch your vids at work on my kindle but it has been screwing up lately and the pages always go unresponsive. I'm going to set aside some time soon to watch them one way or another.

vrabbit: Jesus you took it to Notts in the J Paint final. Always nice to win some silverware! Great season though and you finished on top which makes it even sweeter. I'm surprised that with 92 points the other teams still finished as close to you as they did. Can't wait to see how you do in the Championship next season. Also I see Sheffield United getting some representation in the golden boot

Aquaman: Same as moose above, I've been trying to watch your vids but my tablet hasn't been cooperating. I'm actually really looking forward to following this one too since I've always been a big fan of the lower English leagues and I like the choice of Peterbrough.

SMH: Unbeaten on the month but the draws of course leave you wanting more I'm sure. But you're in a good spot in the table since it's early so 10th is only a matter of a few points from where you want to be. You're defense has been solid so far though.

10Cabee: Waiting for you to sign Santi from the Goal series Great start to the season, it's interesting seeing what the league looks like after all those years in the future. Exeter definitely looks like they are missing you. Will be impressive if/when you replicate the success with a new club.

stlducks: Like the choice of Walsall and interesting that you decided to go with the 3-5-2 as your formation of choice. Cant wait to see what the squad starts to look like as you begin to bring in your style of players. Sucks to fall in the Capital One Cup like that, but you will just have to make a nice FA Cup run to make up for it!

JHedges: Big win over Chelsea. Your keeper really came to play and Chelsea got several chances but you were able to keep them out of your net. I always love it when it's your captain that makes the difference in a game too. I usually give the armband to a defender so it happens less often for me that they score the winning goal.
