Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Reach the Playoff of the Champions League....so everything else is just gravy at this point.
Dropped match at Sevilla 0-1 on a damn set piece late in the match. Dortmund came into Ibrox and couldn't hit the broadside of a barn, and all it took was one magical pass from my 16-year-old AMC prodigy on a perfectly timed run by Thomas Reilly to steal 3 points.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I was hoping that after drawing EPL leaders Chelsea in the CL round of 16, I would get an easier draw in the quarterfinals. Instead, I drew Barcelona.
Well, I beat them last year en route to winning the whole thing, so I guess I'll just have to do it again.Comment

I'm playing a USMNT save. 2015 Gold Cup, we went to penalties in every knockout game and never missed one to win it.
Leading scorer for us in the tournament was Minnesota United's Christian Ramirez with 3.Comment

Hey, at least you'll get a home match out of that too. Cap One Cup semis are two legged.Comment

Chelsea have sacked yet another coach in my save and here's the shortlist...
Diego Simeone (Sevilla)
Ron Jans (Out of Contract)
David Moyes (Celtic)
Jason Whitt (Rangers)
Doubt I'll get a contract offer....but I would definitely have to consider it.Comment

Lazio decided not to show up for our rivalry match. And with that win, I pulled 10 points ahead in 1st place. We are running away with the Serie A this season. Unless there is a major implosion, we will be repeating as champions. Of course, since I said that, here comes a 10 match losing streak.Attached FilesComment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
David Moyes got hired away by Chelsea and Celtic have now turned to former Hearts manager Karl Robinson.
I promptly lose my first match with Robinson in charge against Celtic in the 4th Round of the William Hill Cup 3-1.
Sigh....I'm starting to wonder if this group of players will ever overtake Celtic...but, then that Champions League money hit our coffers. My board increased my transfer budget to $18M for the winter transfer period...and I'm currently in a healthier financial position than Celtic.Comment

I almost loaned away my starting goalie after the transfer deadline and with no back up available. Good thing for the cancel button.Check out my Baseball Rumors Blog http://baseballrumors101.blogspot.com/Comment

In FM 10, I once accidentally started my ace striker at GK in a CL knockout stages leg. That was the quickest sub I've ever made in FM.Comment

After beating Chelsea in the CL knockouts, I posted that I drew Barca in the quarters. Yeah, FM is giving me an easy path to the final, isn't it? Well, I played the first leg on the road, and got 3 HUGE away goals en route to a 4-2 victory.
Also, the scheduling gods cursed me by sandwiching a big league match vs. Juventus in between both Barca legs. Holy fixture congestion, Batman! I'm debating whether to play the B team vs. Juve, given that I have a 10 point lead over them in the league.Attached FilesComment
