Well, I just won the quadruple, beating Man Utd. in the final of every competition. They just can't beat me.

I lost in the league to some weaker teams, such as Spurs and Portsmouth, so if I had played them in any of the finals, who knows?

By the way, if anyone is looking for a winger who can play every midfield position, including CM, I highly recommend Ribery as not only is he a great player, but my coaches and scouts have all made it a point to note that Ribery's personality and light-hearted nature rubs off on the other players, and my squad harmony stayed at Superb the entire season.

While the board was pleased with my management of the team, my job security is only "stable." What the hell? I just won the quadruple!

I HATE MANCHESTER CITY! Every transfer target I go after they steal from me. This time it is Sully Muntari. I offer him 120,000 a week with a 2 mil signing bonus (the max I was allowed to offer) and Man City comes in with nearly twice that and wins his services. I bet he won't even step foot on the pitch too. Robinho, Darijo Srna, Vagner Love (only 2 appearances, yet they dished out 24m for him), Joleon Lescott, and Marik Hamsik don't even start. Ugh.

I don't know what year you're in, but for a CB, try Cristián Zapata (Udinese), Thomas Vermaelen (Ajax), Joleon Lescott (Everton), Mamadou Sakho (PSG), Philippe Mexès (Roma), Matthew Špiranović (Nürnberg), Neven Subotić (Dortmund), Federico Fazio (Sevilla), Domenico Criscito (on loan at Genoa from Juve)... I could go on and on.

Can anyone explain to me what effect the attribute "balance" has on a player?

It's pretty simple, has to do with how well the player's balance is. Different positions need it more than others.

For keepers: The ball needs to stay in a safe place away from prying forwards. The keeper needs to be stable. A clumsy goalkeeper might cost you. Handling is a stat to look at with this.

defenders: Stay on your feet. A sentence managers do repeat often. Last ditch slide tackles are only the final option. A slip here or there lets the striker in.

              Etc.

Ok. So for a striker, would you say that it is vitally important? There is a player I am currently "scouting" who has decent (~14-15)attributes across the board, but a whopping 19 in balance.

I would say it's a bonus, as long as his other attributes are good enough.

I love me some Criscito and Fazio, given their young age, but unfortunately so do their parent clubs.

That's why I'm thinking Heitinga. My scouts love him, and he handed in a transfer request.

But I would rather have two I mentioned above.

I guess it will all depend on how much transfer money I am given.

Just called up my squad for the Finland friendly and Poland qualifier. Team is lead by my "star" striker and captain, Andy Selva. Also have called in Gabriel Hernan Rossini, an Argentinian attacking mid who is also eligible for San Marino.

So they say "Head Coach" instead of manager? I don't get why they think those differences will matter to Americans.

They dominated you in the shot department, but possession was pretty, even, so that's good. Their crosses completed were really low, so it looks like you had a great defensive effort.

Never expected to win, but it's still sad. Got the away fixture at Northern Ireland coming up in a couple days, definitely looking for a point or three out of this one.
