You have got to get those shot totals up.

      Easier said than done.

I'm going to start a new game, with The Gambia this time.

Yup. Got thrashed, 7-0, by N. Ireland! Ouch.

The Gambia should be a more enjoyable squad to manage.

Cross your fingers. Vagner Love has just agreed to come to Craven Cottage...ON A FREE! The only catch is that he needs a work permit, which my scouts have said is unlikely. Please go through! I will appeal until my thumbs are sore.

I'm starting to feel this effect in my game, their 3-5 deep in each position

After 2(!) appearances for the club in 3 games short of 2 full seasons, Vagner Love was put on the transfer list for free. They paid 24mil for him, for 2 effin games, 1 of which he came on as a substitute. I just don't get it.

On a side note, his initial work permit application was turned down. I guess I'll have to appeal and then send him to Belgium if all else fails!

Yeah, they just signed Lennon and already have him in the reserves available for loan.

And I've decided against buying players, instead focusing on improving my coaching staff.

How important is a coaches reputation? I've read that the reputation affects (combined with his attributes) the star rating for training, but it would also appear that with some world class coaches having poor ratings in every category, the reputation has little to no effect.

I never felt reputation had that big an effect, other than a world class coach would never joins the hull cities of the world.
I always went with the coaches with the better attributes, cause any coach who stays with a team long enough, and the team becomes successful, becomes world class.
Ex. I had a physio who had a local reputation, but had a 20 in the right category, and after 20 years at qpr had become world class

Thanks. That's good to know. Because there are some downright awful coaches with world class reputations.

I don't really pay any attention at all to reputation. I just search-> filter for coaches with determination, discipline, and motivation (or maybe it's man management, I can't remeber) all above 15 and end up with 6*+ coaches everytime. A lot of these tend to be regens who don't have a high reputation, don't demand a large salary, and would be grateful to come to such an illustrious club such as Fulham.

The second season at Craven Cottage is in the books, with Fulham finishing in 12th, even though we were predicted to be relegated. It was pretty unsubstantial, with nothing really surprising or out of the ordinary happening. Nobody had any noteworthy seasons. Jozy Altidore led the team in both goals and assists, notching 7 of each.
Here are some screenshots of the season stats and standings...

after about 8 games in the premiership with Derby I decided to resign my position. And I wound up forcing my way into the QPR job.
