If Arsenal had employed my tactics they wouldn't have finished second by 8 points.

Altidore looks like he could become a beast for you.

And the Lionel Messi era begins at Arsenal.

I was given a two year contract offer worth 13.75 mil a year, which I accepted, and a 184-mil transfer budget. Things are looking good.

Some quick notes from the 10/11 summer transfer window...

        - Henry rejects Fulham and signs with Roma.
        - Argentina win the World Cup 2-0 over a Ronaldo-less Portugal (no injury but he missed the final)
        - Only 1st Team transfer in is Vagner Love who will need to be loaned due to work permit issues
        - Eddie Johnson returns to training from vacation at a whopping 26% stamina due to a knee injury. He may not be ready until well into the season, even though him and Altidore are dynamite paired together at the top, and I don't have many other adequate striking pairs.
        - Fabio Cannavaro and Ricardo Costa are still considering Fulham contracts on free transfers (they'd be good, veteran backup for Andreasen and Hangeland).
        - Brian McBride and Pavel Nedved have filled in as replacements for retiring coaches on the Fulham staff

Finally decided to start my long-term Bristol career.

So far, I've brought in Thomas Dossevi from Nantes on loan until the end of the season for $120k. Only paying 50% of his salary ($475k/year), and have the option to buy him for $450k at any point during the duration of the loan.

Also, Stephan Appiah has accepted a contract from us. Just need him to get his work permit...

Liverpool have just put in a bid of just over 20m for Altidore. He is valued at 10m. I by no means want to get rid of him, but 20m could get me some real talent. I don't know what to do?!?!?

I would accept the bid. You can use the money to find a replacement for less, and have extra left over.

Well, Altidore hurt his head in the first friendly of the season and was forced to come off. Depending on how serious it turns out, I could have had my decision made for me...
                ----
It turned out to be not too serious (only 3-4 weeks), but the transfer could not go through because he failed the physical. Crap.

Alright. Since Jozy couldn't go to Liverpool, he is now upset. I put in an offer for Michael Bradley, hoping that will make Jozy happier, as they have a good relationship together. If he can't leave, he's gotta be happy.

So Appiah was granted a work permit, but unfortunately failed his medical. Hopefully when he's a little better I will be able to bring him in.

Brought in Emiliano Insúa on loan from Liverpool for the season, he should immediately side in to the our first XI at left back.

Also, just announced a link with Arsenal. Terms of the deal allow them to send players to us on loan, and we will host an annual friendly between our two clubs. They will be paying us $146k/year.

As part of the link, Arsenal plan to send us midfielder Mark Randall on loan.

I'll send you Lionel Messi and Samir Nasri.

                          On second thought...

                            That's a sweet deal.

Well I'm approaching the end of January with QPR, 15 points out of a playoff spot, but were just starting to get on a roll.
Picked up Benjani from Man City, Jose Baxter from Everton, Kirkland and Figueroa from Wigan, and Higgenbottom from Stoke, and I'm in the process of picking up Saivet from Bordeaux.
Along with Darron Gibson from Man United on loan
                              Love having money to spend.
Don't you EVER read my blog? It's gotten a lot better.

Saivet was just highly recommended to me by my scouts, so that would be a great pickup.
