Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I've filled all spots now in the database with people who have posted in this topic since the first of the year. We are all stocked up on staff now. There was only one more user who posted in there than there was staff slots.
I filled in some things for people that didn't location info, and set some people to random stats for youth coaches, scouts and physios.Last edited by Zac; 02-09-2018, 07:14 PM.

Okay gents. Here are your staff profiles. Keep in mind, we are lower, lower level here. So you aren't going to be super stars. Some of you are better than others, because its impossible for certain staff members to get better stats. So those have much higher stats than everyone else to start.

Also everyone is only on $20 a week to start on three year contracts (I hope no one gets poached, lol). Because that is the lowest I could do. And I don't want to bankrupt the club in the first year. As is, the staff is going to cost the team $12,480 for the year. 13 staff members on $80 a month. I can't control my wage for the first season. It puts me at $400 a week (I'll renew at $20 end of contract). I have no idea why it does it so high to start. That is another $19,200 for the year. Bringing us to $31,680 for the yearly staff bill. Just staff! That is insane for a club at this level. So to combat this I gave the club $80K in the editor to start. So we have to climb the ranks as fast as possible to avoid crazy amounts of debt within 3-5 years.
We also can only have 4 part-time players on actual contracts and everyone else has to be on non-contract. So they only get appearance money. And min on that is also $20 per game they play (most players will want more to stay if a bigger club comes calling). So this is going to be tricky.
We only have 6 players. So I will be spending a whole day trying to get squad large enough to start a season. I'm only doing all this manual scouting at the start, because I hate the "add players to team" option. It always adds really awful players. Then after this I'm 100% relying on the scouts. So don't let us down (no pressure).
Also everyone is setup to eventually move into better coaching roles. It doesn't show that on your profiles, but if/when we become a bigger club and we get more staff slots I'll be promoting from within first.
And when (no in-game editor) someone leaves (I won't replace anyone, but if you decide to move on your own I can't stop that) I'll do end of year checks on them so you can track your career.
Let me know if anyone wants to see anything. I'll do another update once we have a full roster of players before the season starts (not tonight). Then I'll do mid season updates (January transfer) and end of season updates moving forward.

Hahaha, that's amazing. I look forward to leading your U23's. If anyone on the first team misbehaves, send them down to me and I'll make 'em run wind sprints.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Let's pretend this is real life, you both are probably better managers than I am, I'd probably just let you both do your thing and just write reports for ZO. Overlook the Youth Academy. Bring so many danes in your head will spin.
In my save news, I had a fantastic season with Lille.
Just fantastic, couldn't have asked for better. Club now has money is a bit financially stable, but it feels so daunting to take on this
I really think I'm just going to resign, or maybe put the finishing touches on my USA Pyramid, or go back to a lower league team. Jeez.Last edited by Suntan Superman; 02-10-2018, 01:31 AM.Support Local Sports

Zo, the crazy thing is I was going to post and say I'll take Chief Scout lol.
And Suntan, I know all about lolPSG. I've been dealing with lolPSG now for a decade....to the point that I'm about ready to resign. In the story, it works, because the next season will be the last season on my current contract and I'm not going to be a lame duck manager.Comment
