Used Sortitoutsi’s data update and start date file to emulate the real life season.

Was going to look to sign Auba until BVB wanted 205 million for him.

Dr. Evil must handle their transfers.

But I did end up signing Erik Durm and Sebastian Rode for about 20 million combined. Rode is a beast in the midfield as a BWM.

Went out to Marseilles on away goals in the Europa League.

Going to be a dog fight with Spurs and Liverpool for the all inclusive 4th place trophy.

I told the board I can achieve Europa league football, but obviously want CL football.

Tonight I’ll have West Ham in the FA Cup Semi Final.

Ended up loading the Argentinian, Brazilian, and Portuguese leagues down to the 2nd tier starting in July. Gotta find the next Messi or Ronaldo.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

Ten years...they call that a decade. We've built something here. We've taken a broken club and built it into what I feel is a power in French football. But we need the hardware to prove that. As an icon of Amiens, it is my job to continue the sustained growth of this club. We have developed a culture of winning, which is causing our starlets to get offers from big money clubs, which causes us to buy more unknown players, and the vicious cycle continues.

It's not really my style to churn through players like I have been, but I want to beat PSG. I NEED to beat PSG. My goal is to keep this team together. I was able to keep Leverkusen off of Nacho Varela, but I wasn't as successful in other places.

Good Luck in your Future Endeavours

CM Camille Le Floch - 214 appearances, 31 goals, 46 assists, 12 POM Awards, 7.30 rating in six seasons ($27.5M to Monaco) - Purchased Camille from Montpellier for $3M. The past two seasons have seen Le Floch at his best, registering 100 appearances, 17 goals, and 27 assists. Unfortunately, Monaco came in, and Le Floch's agent saw the dollar signs and there wasn't much we could do to keep him.

RB Aksel Gauthier - 21 appearances, 1 goal, 1 assist, 1 POM award, 7.12 rating in one season ($4.6M to Benfica) - Was a decent backup option at right back. Purchased last season from Toulouse for $4.3M. Started complaining about playing time and became a nuisance, and Benfica allowed us to make a slight profit.

CM Sarge Marchand - 101 appearances, 5 goals, 10 assists, 2 POM awards, 7.08 rating in two seasons ($36M to Schalke) - And on deadline day, I lose my most promising midfield prospect. Sarge had two solid seasons for us after coming over to us from Caen for $4.6M. The former Lyon youth saved his best play for the big stage, performing very well for us in the Champions League. Schalke tried unsuccessfully last season to purchase him. This season, we weren't able to hold them off.

          Projected Starting Lineup

GK: Borja Martinez (4.0/4.0 stars/24 years old/$16.25M/2 caps for Spain) - Signed in the summer of 2029 from Real Madrid for $1.3M. Borja had a slight dip in form, but still made 48 starts last season, allowing 1.13 goals per game with an average rating of 7.05. He was named to the player of the week team five times and was shortlisted for the Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the Year Award.

LB: Atilla Mitev (3.5/3.5 stars/23 years old/$16M/30 caps for Bulgaria) - Signed last summer from Sevilla for $2.7M. Made 45 appearances last season, registering eight assists with an average rating of 7.56. Was named to four Ligue 1 Teams of the Week and was named to the Ligue 1 Team of the Year.

CB: Tom Troost (3.0/3.0 stars/25 years old/$7.25M) - Signed in 2029 from Ajax for $3.5M. Made 40 appearances last season, scoring two goals with an average rating of 7.15. Was named to the Ligue 1 Team of the Week one time.

CB: Loic Guerin (3.5/3.5 stars/28 years old/$17.25M- 1 cap for France) - Signed in 2029 from Le Havre for $6.25M. Made 48 appearances, registering two assists and earning two POM awards with a match rating of 7.36. Loic earned his first cap for France last season in a friendly against Argentina. Was named to the Ligue 1 Team of the Week ten times and was named to the Ligue 1 Team of the Year.

RB: Flavio Nasta (3.0/3.0 stars/29 years old/$11.5M) - Signed in 2028 on a free from Atl. Tucuman in Argentina. Flavio rebounded slightly, the captain making 42 appearances, scoring five goals, registering four assists, earned five POTM awards and had a match rating of 7.49. Was named to three Ligue 1 Teams of the Week, the Ligue 1 Team of the Year and was voted the Supporter's Player of the Season for a second straight season.

CM: Massimiliano Cericola (3.5/5.0 stars/19 years old/$2.5M) - Signed on loan from Roma this summer. Last season, he was on loan with Tours, where he made 36 appearances, scoring two goals and registering two assists with an average match rating of 6.93. Looks very suited as a box to box midfielder and should add some toughness to our midfield trio.

CM: Giomaria Brundu (3.5/4.5 stars/24 years old/$20.5M) - Joined this summer on a free from Inter. Made 41 appearances last season while on loan with Sporting, scoring three goals, and registering nine assists with a match rating of 6.62. Should replace Le Floch as our deep-lying playmaker, but he is equally adept at being able to play as a box-to-box midfielder.

CM: Jamie Fuller (3.0/5.0 stars/19 years old/$14.75M) - Joined this summer on loan from Liverpool. Last season while on loan with Reading, Jamie made 45 appearances, scoring four goals, registering 11 assists and earned two POM awards with a match rating of 6.81. Will probably slot in as a deep-lying playmaker in our system.

AMC: Matej Nemec (3.0/3.0 stars/25 years old/$10.25M/49 caps for Slovakia) - Brought in Nemec last January on loan from Malaga, then spent the $3M to make the move permanent. Last season, made 10 appearances, registering three assists with a match rating of 6.91. His speed proved to give defenders fits being slotted in behind our two strikers.

ST: Adam Forsberg (3.5/3.5 stars/28 years old/$14M/1 cap for Sweden) - Joined last winter from Hammarby IF for $3.1M. Last season, made 14 appearances, scoring four goals with a match rating of 6.74. A very intelligent player who should slot in nicely with Nacho.

ST: Nacho Varela (4.0/4.0 stars/27 years old/$27.5M) - Signed in 2028 from Deportivo for $2.8M. Nacho didn't quite reach the lofty goals he reached the year prior. However, he still made 46 appearances, scoring 22 goals, registering 9 assists, and earned six POTM awards with a match rating of 7.10. Was named to the Ligue 1 Team of the Week twice.

Well, we survived quite nicely. Alexander Isak started slow, had a meeting where I told him he wasn't performing and I was going to drop him, then he scored in all but 2 of our final 14 games. Managed to sneak into 7th, and lose the Coupe de France to gain a Europa League spot for next year!

Meanwhile, in Munich...(I don't remember if I detailed this, but the only reason I left is because with 8 months to go on my contract, in joint 1st, 1860 didn't want to renew my contract. I'm listed as an Icon at the club.)

It makes me unreasonably sad, as they were players that I either brought through the ranks, signed to revive their careers, or signed to be the future. Buhrer and Ambrosch were part of the Golden Generation that is now scattered. They finished 6th. Their finances are still a bit insecure it looks. Unfortunate.

Does FFP update monthly? I’ve shaved about 900k per week off my wage bill and the game is still saying I’m projected to fail EPL FFP.

Ended up finishing 6th in the league and lost in the FA Cup Semi Final. Told the board I can achieve CL football so we’ll see how that ends up.

Barcelona came in and wanted Xhaka and Mustafi. Good riddance. ElNeny went to Napoli.

Bought Weston McKinnie from Schalke for 30 million. Will be my midfield enforcer eventually. I’ll be looking to replace Mustafi with Kostas Manolas hopefully. After all the transfers out I’ve got 120 million to use.

Last person I’m trying to get rid of is Lucas.

Yes. It actually updates more frequently than monthly. I am not EXACTLY sure how it works though, as it keeps fluctuating. Sometimes I'm set to pass, others fail.

                  So far so good though...

Failing salary increase FFP once doesn't matter if you're rich. It's a fine that you can absorb easily.

So that’s how City can get away with it. Makes sense.

You also lose 5 league points, if I'm not mistaken.
