Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Was tinkering around with some new skins last night, and I really, really like the Andromeda skin. There is a skin-breaking problem with it for me, though. When I hover over the 'i' by the player to bring up his attributes/info from the squad list or tactics screen, a lot of the numbers are missing. It's like it isn't wide enough.
I play full screen on 1920x1080, which I thought the skin was designed for. Everything else looks fantastic outside of this, but I utilize that pop-up a lot.
Anyone else who uses the Andromeda skin have this problem? Is there a fix?
Here is the one I'm trying to use - It's called Andromeda BLK 2 http://www.fmscout.com/a-andromeda-skin-fm16.html
I'm playing at 2560x1440 and it looks okay for me.
EDIT: I take that back. I see anyone with a double digit number higher than 11 is missing. It has .. instead of the number. Even with the zoom at 100%. It would appear to be a panel spacing issue.Last edited by Zac; 06-15-2016, 07:45 PM.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
So it's been awhile since my last update, so let's get to it.
So after losing to Ghana at WC2018, we turned our attention to the Gold Cup. Avenged the loss to Canada in the previous one, but lost in the final to Mexico in extra time.
2020 was par on course for WC qualification outside of losses to Curacao and Costa Rica.
2021 has been great. Outside of a fluke friendly loss to Haiti and a last minute loss @ Jamaica, we've been rolling. Qualified for the WC outright with a game in hand.
WC Draw comes around and we're drawn in Group E with Portugal, Colombia and Austria. Of course Qatar didn't keep it and it was moved to Canada so let's see how this works.Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Michigan

So far all of my FM16 saves have fizzled out rather quickly so I decided to do something different and role with Arsenal.
Let's see if I can finally get a long term save going!

Closing in on year 2 and wow...
He spent most of his transfer money on bringing Thiago and Martinez with him from Bayern. lol
Funny thing tho previous season Cit-eh won the CL with Pellegrini who then left and became manager of Brazil.Last edited by Altimus; 06-23-2016, 05:28 PM.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
So, I flamed out of the World Cup (1 point in 3 games, Belgium won over England on penalties, South Korea (made it to the semis by beating Brazil) and Egypt (beat Germany in the first knockout round) were the surprises) which pretty much showed my time was up. Resigned and started the job hunt.
At the end of July, Atletico Madrid became open after Jurgen Klopp resigned and I applied. Did everything not to bomb it and got the job. The club is in a transition period, as Koke and Griezmann are still very damn good, but on the wrong side of 30, while we do have some regens that have the potential to be great but need time.
I think my first two games sum it up as we came out and blasted Dnipro 5-0 in the first leg of the CL Playoff, then turned around 3 days later to be blasted by Real Madrid 0-5 at the Bernabeu.
EDIT: Almost forgot. Seeing as I'm 6 years into the game, if there is any club, player, manager or league you want to know about, just ask and I'll look it up for you.Last edited by justblaze09; 06-26-2016, 01:06 PM.Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Michigan

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Been playing a Uruguay national team only save for a bit. Finished 4th in the 2016 Copa America. All 3 of my knockout round matches went to penalties after the 90 minutes. Beat Brazil in the quarters after a 0-0 draw, lost to Mexico in the semis after a 2-2 draw, and lost to Colombia in the 3rd place match after a 0-0 draw.
Qualified for the World Cup with 4 matches to spare and ended up finishing 2nd in CONMEBOL qualifying behind Brazil despite recording two 1-0 victories over them in the qualifying. We could have won the group, but I brought in a bunch of players that were fighting for the last World Cup spots to see how they did.
Next up is the World Cup. The team has been selected, and we are in a tough group with Germany, Portugal, and South Korea. First tune up is at home against Puerto Rico before heading to Europe to play Greece and Croatia before the tournament starts.
I haven't looked very closely at what's going on in the leagues I have loaded, but I did notice that Klopp's Man City just won the EPL in 17/18.
EDIT: Lost the first match to S. Korea 0-1, and despite crushing Portugal 5-1 in the next match, our stay in the World Cup was short. Lost to Germany 1-3. The last match was weird in that thanks to all the other results, a draw or win meant we won the group, and a loss meant we finished last in the group. And the opposite was true for Germany. So Germany won the group on 5 points, S. Korea went through with 4 and a better GD than Portugal. Then I was last with 3.
I promptly resigned. Not sure if I'll go back to this save to pick up a job or not.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 06-30-2016, 10:32 AM.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I got a new PC, and it's been a whole new FM experience for me. I redownloaded everything to make the game great, and I'm no longer missing random logos, and I got a hairpack so regens don't look abysmal. Since this will probably be my last save file on this FM, I figured I'd do the thing I do every year, finish out with my boys at Viborg. First year went normal, finished top 5 in the Superliga, and won the DBU Pokalen(due to literally every team I was afraid of getting knocked out, seriously had a pretty cake run to the semifinal) Signed a few good young prospects and am setting myself up to be the Ajax of Denmark. Still a long way to go, but it's a lot of fun now that I get to play on an actual PC as opposed to a laptop.Support Local Sports
