Your easiest method is to use the Pre-Game Editor to do this, most of these things are pretty self-explanatory within the Editor, but if you downloaded through steam it'll just be listed under tools as Football Manager 19 Editor. I don't know how much experience you have with database editors, but it's pretty generic so you should be able to handle it with a little trial and error either way. If you go this route and have questions, my PM box should be open, or post here and I'm pretty available during my workday to answer any weird questions.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Okay, I think my yearly break has been long enough. Its time to return. Journeyman, first job offered is with Forrest Green. No idea how I got a 2 star job in League 2 with a sliver of a star rep. This is probably going to be a disaster. But they are already in last place and 18 points off safety in October. So I guess I can't do much worse with my 9 month contract.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I think I have to scrap this save and start a new one. I can't start my first match because there isn't a single player on the team who is home grown by the club. And League Two requires one in the match squad. And no one in the U23's is old enough to qualify yet. And I checked don't use in-game editor at the start. So there is no way I can play this match. What a waste of time setting this club up has been for the last few hours.
EDIT: Strange that a 16 year old kid in the U19's qualifies, but none of the 16/17 year olds in the U23's qualifies. I moved everyone from both squads to the senior squad and one kid from the U19's qualifies as HGC. So game on. Looking forward to losing this match 0-9.Last edited by Zac; 04-03-2019, 01:19 PM.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
here's a relative noob question
Is it possible to create a new team that is filled with entirely created players? I started to create my Camelot Dragons (which I think I last had on Fifa 04?), naming the stadium and picking the colors etc, but when I started to add created players I'm basically over writing players from the team I'm replacing and have had a heck of a time in editing skill attributes. Basically I'd like to be able to go to a drawing board, create the team, create the players and then just plop that into an existing low league/non-league structure replacing a club and go from there. Any help or pointing to a post that answers is appreciated.
if you peruse here you'll also find plenty of resources if you're having issues.Support Local Sports

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Save has not been going so good. Not a single win in the league. But had 10 draws. And pulled us up out the relegation zone, granted only one point above the drop. The biggest issue was there have been five players that have been at odds with me since day one. And they continually drag the morale of everyone down. Into December I was having meetings with half the roster twice a week because of it. Then on January 15th I get called into a meeting with the board. They asked me why I think we are doing so poorly. I say because of the trouble makers in the locker room.
Forever mortal enemies.
Now I can't get a job, anywhere. I might have to load more lower leagues. This is nuts.Last edited by Zac; 04-04-2019, 02:20 AM.

I've been fired more times in this game than any iteration of FM, it's kind of unreal.Support Local Sports

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
So I ended up at Wolfsburg, just outside the relegation playout spot. Thankfully the squad seems good enough that I didn't have to do much re-tooling, though I did make some additions in January(I joined in December), most were young player. I wasn't able to get a good ball winner for midfield though, now I know I just have to wait two years...

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
You can forget about that ten in a row Celtic. Brendan Rodgers left Celtic to take the job at Dortmund and they hired.....Jack Ross of St. Mirren????
But even before Rodgers left, the sour taste that was in our mouths after losing the title the way we did last season had us come out strong with a 3-0 victory over Celtic on opening day and we never looked back. It's hard to win the title Celtic if you never beat us
Even having to sell Alfredo Morales in January didn't stop us ($14.5M with futures to $21M to Red Bull Leipzig), as I found another South American striker in Walter Gonzalez to step in. Not quite the goal scoring threat that Morales was (63 goals in 67 appearances), but he got 7 goals in 11 appearances down the stretch. Also brought in Harry Wilson from Liverpool on loan and he added another ten goals in 15 appearances.
Only lost three matches in Scotland....a 0-1 defeat to Hibernian...an inexplicable 1-3 loss to Kilmarnock...and then we crashed out of the Scottish Cup in our first match 0-1 to Airdrie (typical FM gods smash and grab).
So next season...back in Champions League...a lot of Caixinha's horrible high dollar signings are gone now (thank you Cruz Azul for paying $2.2M for Carlos Pena)...and I'm setting this club up to dominate Scotland.Comment
