I had that issue a lot with FM13. I skipped FM14, so I can't say anything about it.

However, I've not had a single crash out of FM15.

yes you can - but it's quite tricky to ensure all the rules work, otherwise you can have game-ending bugs happen, the most common being fixture issues/congestion

Does the star rating system for players go by what league you're in?

I'm in League 1, and I'm affiliated with West Brom in the EPL. I look at their team, and over half their players are rated 5 stars. Is this telling me that over half their players are 5 star players if they were on a League 1 team?

The star rating system is determined by the quality level of your team. And it's a combination of both the player's overall skill level (adjusted to your team's quality) and the player's performances as the scout watched them. That's why the star ratings for players on your team will fluctuate.

I upgraded to Windows 10 and now I can't start FM14. I deleted the appcache folder, per Steams info, and I couldn't find any other info on Steam.

Does anyone know if 14 works with Windows 10?

              Thanks.

Did you have to do anything?

I tried about 5 times, to start the game, it wouldn't start. I even tried to start thru Steam's site. Said the app was always running but wouldn't start.

Oh, yes, I had that issue. I'm trying to remember if I did anything to fix it or if it just sort of fixed itself......

Sorry, I really can't remember what I did (if anything) to fix it.

I remember googling around for the "This app is already running" issue. If I did anything, it would have been simple stuff like uninstalling and re-installing Steam.

edit- I apologize. Feels crappy to be like: Oh yeah I had that issue but I can't help you... lol. But I'm kinda racking my brain here, and I really can't remember what I did, if anything.

Anyone have experience making custom leagues? I want to buy FM 15 but would love to have completely fictional leagues, fictional league with real players, and fictional world with only the top 5 leagues. Any of these possible?

I can confirm that it's absolutely possible, it's just incredibly difficult.

try verifying the integrity of the cache option when you right click on the game in your steam library. Im not on my pc to check right now but its under one of the tabs

What do you guys do to keep your players' match fitness up at the end of the season when there aren't as many fixtures on the schedule? After the cup runs are over I don't really need to rotate the squad to rest players and even the players who play regularly lose a little bit of match fitness with a week in between fixtures. Should I be scheduling friendlies or U21 matches to keep the rest of the squad fit?

I generally keep a small first team for this very reason. I would rather rotate a small squad then try to keep a large first team happy with their playing time.

But you have to weigh the risk/reward of match fitness vs injuries in those extra fixtures. Playing in the Bundesliga, I don't have as many different cups to worry about as say in England (plus a shorter schedule). Towards the end of the season, I pick a core group of 15-17 players and don't have a hard time keeping their match fitness levels above 90% just by rotating them in and out of the first XI.

Anyone know if SI are going to make the player conversation system worth while, or will it continue to be a joke. I'd rather they remove it all together.
