That makes me more hopeful, but lets see if United or Liverpool go over the limit, if the FA actually enforces a penalty. Not to mention the fact that even if these rules are enforced, will the club actually start spending money? That is what I'm most concerned with.

I for one don't believe anything coming out of that boardroom right now. They have to earn my trust back with actions.

Bit of good news as Arsene said that he expects Koscielny to pass a fitness test before the match tomorrow.

Yeah, I was not looking forward to seeing Miquel or Squillaci manning the CB spot tomorrow even with Per partnering them. I think Per has been by far our best CB this season. Another great buy by Arsene. Too bad he won't do it more often, because the guy is pretty good at it.

Apparently Koscielny passed the fitness test, but then became ill in the warmup, so Sagna is next to Per.

This should basically be us trying to get through ten men behind the ball for the entire game.

I'll take a 1-0 victory on the road if that is all we can get.

Well, 1-0 up, but Jenkinson just showed why the talks of him being able to take over and have Sagna leave are absolute rubbish.

Still a very young lad who has to learn some lessons. The two tackles he that got him cards were ones that Sagna wouldn't have had to make, as the man wouldn't have been by him so easily.

I love ya, Carl, but Bac's spot is not yet close to being yours.

He made some great saves, but I think Sagna might be the MOTM. Playing out of positon, and showing his usual calmness throughout.

Also, Aaron Ramsey is wonderful. Aaron, can you play on the wing? Sure. Aaron, can you play the holding midfield role? Sure. Aaron, can you play right back? Sure.

He will do anything he can to help the club on the pitch, and while he doesn't always have the best game, he's always giving absolutely everything he has.

Wonderful attacking by us in the first half, and wonderful defending in the second. Sadly, Spurs also won so we didn't gain any ground there.

We did not lose any either. We just gotta keep pace, they will falter down the line. Two clean sheets in a row must be a confidence boost for our defense, lets see if they continue to carry this on.

This is not the same Spurs as last year led by Harry, though.

Our game against them will be bigger than usual.

" From 2013-14 onwards, clubs will be limited to losses of £105m over three seasons based on their audited accounts. As with Uefa's stricter financial fair play rules, money invested in youth development and infrastructure can be discounted from the calculation "

does this mean if the club is going to go over 105m, they can instead invest into their youth squads and then the (new) costs for facilities would minus out the overages.

so lets say it looks like over the 3 year period, my club is going to be 5 million over, I can invest 5 million into a new training facility for my youth squad in order to stay under the negative cap.

No, it just means that the money you spend doesn't count towards the losses.

For instance, say Arsenal reported a loss of 125M, but 25M of that was spent to upgrade the youth facilities, or something of that nature, they could then remove the 25M from their losses, putting them under the 105 threshold.

The Youth Costs don't minus out, they just simply do not count.

The game was also live on FSC+. Does your provider not carry the channel?

As to the game itself, Jenkinson needs to show better discipline. You can't make that tackle when you're already on a yellow, and he's lucky it didn't cost us any points.

Our attacking when were at even strength was fantastic. Sure, we only netted one goal, but given the chances we created we should have scored more, and the scintillating passing on display made the team at times look like the old arsenal.

Two clean sheets in a row is outstanding. Now it's time for Spurs to do their job and start dropping points.

We better get someone to whack Gareth Bale in the knee then. If he stays healthy the rest of the way, we are in big trouble.
