We could set up in a 5-3-2 with Yedlin and Johnson as wingbacks and just hit them on the counter since most of Germany's fastest players sit on the bench. Portugal basically imploded but the Ghana game showed that Germany is not the monster they should be.

Low has played nearly identical lineups so far and I'd bet he will play the same one again vs us.
I like your thinking, and thought a 5-3-2 or 5-4-1 might be a good idea...

Though I wouldn't be surprised to see some changes to the German XI

The fact that there's so many ways we don't get through with a simple 1-0 loss is horrifying.

Agreed. Germany is pretty slow, especially with players like Lahm playing out of position. The thing that scares me is that we're coming off little rest after playing in the toughest city. Teams that played in Manaus have not fared well in their next match.

Lots of tired legs on what should be a very soggy pitch...

can't help but hope they just play keepy-uppies for 92mins.

oh...btw...that last Portugal goal still smarts. smh.
