Wondo and AJ up top together. Neither is a hold up striker but would work well together

Take one of your best players out of his best position and put him somewhere he struggles.

I am not sure I like it.

I trust he will come up with a solution.
He is german, he has plans for his plans, and every type of scenario.

Yeah, people pissed and moaned the way the USA played Ghana. Look at what they're doing to Germany, a supposed favorite.

if you told me USA would be able to be leading the group and advance on Sunday, I wouldn't have believed you

come on USA, make the game on Thursday just for seeding, I don't want to have to play Germany with something on the line .... unless Klinsmann can make an agreement for a 0-0 tie

The only thing I ask is that the usa team actually play soccer tomorrow. If we play and attack and still lose then fine. I just dont want to see them get dominated possession wise

playing like the ghana game against top teams we will not win. Ghana is terrible at finishing goals. If that was germany it would have been 3-1 real quick and we would have lost

I'd rather win ugly than lose beautifully.

My point was in line with Bruins. Don't care what it looks like as long as we win. Obviously the same actual performance would be disastrous.

A draw would be horrible...we'd have to take points from Germany to advance, and I don't know that they could be counted upon to simply share a draw and move on.
                              Australian Rules Football...just sayin'

Eh, I don't know about that. Obviously winning is most important, but there isn't much enjoyment in winning games by playing ugly, slow, plodding, and dirty. We have to remember that we're watching to enjoy too. I'd rather watch Holland than Italy, for example.

For a team like us though, at this point we *do* have to win no matter what. Style will have to form later if it doesn't come with winning as a "package deal."
