Arriola somehow spends half of every game in dangerous positions...too bad he's not a striker...

Zardes....his feet just don't want him to be a footballer. I'd rather see a Brian Ching all but standing still but at least providing hold up play and size.

    I hope we trounce TnT.

Sargent wouldn't have scored the goal Zardes did yesterday, you just can't really teach that.

not many people can score a header like that without looking for the ball or at the goal. Truly a class of his own.

I didn't see any of Zardes last season when he scored 19(!) goals in MLS, and I always wondered how the hell that happened. Then I saw the highlight from last night and everything makes sense.

I don’t know too much about him but I really liked what I saw from Tyler Boyd.

Obviously it wasn't single handed, but he played a huge part in keeping Ankaragücü in the Super Lig, he loves to play on the left and cut in on his right, and since joining Ankaragücü he's gotten better on his left foot. I only took notice because of his joining Vitória a few years back. I'm mostly on this hype train because I love good inside forwards that can allow wing backs to push forward in attack, like we saw with him and Nick Lima last night.

Pulisic has been absolutely incredible in this match.

                    Well done.

Second goal for Zardes was the best first touch I've ever seen him take...

Gyasi Gyasi he only needs a nibble
Because he won't score if he has to dribble

Three goals, zero distance dribbled. Idk why, but it makes me laugh. Maybe It's manager's instruction

I've noticed these past 2 Gold Cup matches that his demeanor is more mature. In the past when he'd get hacked down he'd throw little fits but now he seems to just get up and get on with it. He seems a little more patient as well.

Even without the goals, it was the best I've seen Zardes play as a true 9. His hold-up play was pretty solid.

Really like what I see from Lima too at RB.

Turns out, this team is actually coming together, although...it's not quite the who's who of FIFA competition.
