Re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
So in the ever-evolving situation at US Soccer HQ, they officially announced today that they expect the reserves to go from $150m to $40m in 2025 due to "Investment" and "litigation"Support Local Sports

Re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
Basically they're knee deep in lawsuits. For those keeping track at home, USWNT, Hope Solo, NASL, Relevant Sports, and US Soccer Foundation. They spent $9m on litigation the past fiscal year. Carlos Cordeiro's five-year plan includes that money, and money they plan on "investing" into US Soccer, and it apparently totals 110m over the next few years.Support Local Sports

Re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
Excuse my ignorance here, but are these positions always full historically? To me, it doesn't make all that much sense to have all these positions full unless there is some kind of competition coming up where a specific age group competes. In the meantime, wouldn't you just have a general youth coach?Comment

So, having a few openings wouldn't be a big deal, but having almost no youth coaches, no youth staff, and a policy that doesn't make much sense(Must live in Chicago) seems to make things a lot worse than they'd normally be.Support Local Sports
