I suspect when it comes to the United States versus Canada, it won't be our day again for another 20 years.

So in the ever-evolving situation at US Soccer HQ, they officially announced today that they expect the reserves to go from $150m to $40m in 2025 due to "Investment" and "litigation"

Basically they're knee deep in lawsuits. For those keeping track at home, USWNT, Hope Solo, NASL, Relevant Sports, and US Soccer Foundation. They spent $9m on litigation the past fiscal year. Carlos Cordeiro's five-year plan includes that money, and money they plan on "investing" into US Soccer, and it apparently totals 110m over the next few years.

So what exactly is Earnie Stewart's job?
Wicky just got hired by Chicago Fire. So if you're keeping track at home, the men's YNT has a U23 coach, and the women's YNT has a U17 coach, and

Excuse my ignorance here, but are these positions always full historically? To me, it doesn't make all that much sense to have all these positions full unless there is some kind of competition coming up where a specific age group competes. In the meantime, wouldn't you just have a general youth coach?

Most other federations have them filled, or have people surrounding age groups filled, as well as general youth coaches. There are normally youth camps throughout the year that youth managers and National Team officials put on/help with. We certainly don't need every position filled, but to have none of them filled, and to have all of the people who used to fill them talking about how it was an agenda to drive them out(at least Tab and Omid have said as much) certainly doesn't drive any faith that this is "fine"

So, having a few openings wouldn't be a big deal, but having almost no youth coaches, no youth staff, and a policy that doesn't make much sense(Must live in Chicago) seems to make things a lot worse than they'd normally be.
