I cannot wait till Sturridge comes back fully healthy and gets some time at CF. Still believe we can get some solid service out of him. At the very least he will be a nice change of pace compared to Torres.

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
The problem with Sturridge is his decision making. He needs to really tighten that up if he's going to succeed, especially given that the team now is based on passing the ball well. I do agree that we need a fit and productive Sturridge to take some minutes from Torres.Comment

Big game this weekend. Spurs are a solid team this year, but if our 3 amigos play well and Cole and Ivanovic can keep up with Bale and Lennon, we should be OK. Also, my Chelsea jersey came in today for me at work. Very excited.Comment

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
Looks a decision has been made if Terry is still captain but they're keeping it internal for now.
"We do not discuss publicly the disciplinary matters we take against our players. They remain confidential. You will have to wait and see," Di Matteo said.
"They are internal matters, the action we take against our players, and we are not going to discuss it."Comment

We must still be hung over from that big win Saturday cause no one as posted...
What a win and Mata...
Put Walker in his place at the end. Sturridge looked pretty bad in his limited time. Despite not scoring, Torres looked good. If we could match him up next to another CF we would be golden.
Tough week ahead. Shaktar tomorrow and MU on Sunday.Comment

I'd like to know what's going on with Marin. We haven't seen anything from this kid and he too is another player I'd like to see in action. Also, it seemingly looks like Lamps is on the way down the RDM pecking order as the side transitions from the old Chelsea to the flair-inspired current side we see. As sad as that is, Ramires and Mikel are playing solid football right now
I'd be happy if we drew at Shakhtar tomorrow, and then take out Man U this weekend. I still think Man U's back four are questionable and with the way we've been going, we could score some goals. Here's hoping anyway. Plus, Torres has had big games in the past against United save for that horrid miss last year....Comment

I was too busy playing FM 13 lol. Kidding though - I agree with you. Our defending again wasn't great, but we were quality again on the attack and Mata playing well yet again. This guy's been on fire and hopefully, he will get the recognition he deserves. Once again, the front four of Torres, Mata, Hazard, and Oscar were rampant.

RDM is doing a great job at managing Lamps minutes and vs teams Spurs he's not going to play, too much pace, well at least until Dembele & Bale were scratched. I knew once those two were scratches we had that match in the bag. Dembele is the key to their attack in the middle and Bale provides that explosive pace opposite of Lennon. We could have scored 6 or 7 had Mata & Torres converted on those chances. I'll give Sturridge the benefit of the doubt as he hasn't played in so long. He got his chance and converted even if it was just a tap-in.
Shakthar is going to be tough, they haven't lost since last year (Champions League) and are always strong at home. With United looming on the weekend it will be interesting to see what lineup RDM throws out there. I'd love to see what a fully fit Sturridge would do with Mata, Oscar, and Hazard. We know one thing, he'd take at least three times as many shots as Torres.
If we can get through these next two with no losses I'll be satisfied. Take all 6 and I will be on the interwebs this weekend ordering a new jersey.Comment

ESPN staff are notorious for these kinds of ridiculous stories. The same staff 2 years ago said we'd sign Aguero and we all know what happened there.Comment
