The tournament holds little prestige but in the case we're in I think we have to win.

Plus if they lose I'm sure that will mean Rafa out. Roman was already mad we didn't win the Community Shield or the UEFA Super Cup.

It's been hard for me to stomach CFC games lately although the first half against West Ham was the best we'd played in a long time. Just a shame we couldn't convert our chances.

We do need Terry and Lamps back though if for nothing else then to get our dressing room back on track. The sqaud is devoid of leaders and it's showing. I'm still somewhat hopeful we go on a run, but that hope goes down and down each disappointing result we get.

Having said all that, our future is bright if we can get our **** together and get a manager who Roman won't sack within months. We have players like Courtois, Lukaku, and Chalaboh who will be good players to meld with Hazard, Oscar, Mata, Marin etc.

What we need though besides a proven striker is a midfielder who can push us forward and stay strong. Mikel is terrible and Fellaini would be who I'd go with.

The thing with Fellaini is he's showed he is extremely productive as an Attacking Midfielder and you have an abundance of those. I'm sure he could be effective as a box to box central mid and would bring some physicality you guys are lacking, but I'm not sure if he would be used to his full potential with the players already in place there.

I think he would. He would add some industry and talent to help the flair players. Mikel is a very limited player and Ramires is small. Fellaini would be a boss in the Chelsea midfield. Just my opinion though

Fellani would be the logical like for like switch with Mikel. Solid in defense, great on set pieces, can go forward. He might not be able to transition the attack from defense to offense as quickly as others but he'd be a great addition.

As a club we need to finish better, not just Torres. That right there masks a lot of our issues and puts us back in the running in the league. City & United have their own set of issues. Arsenal is realizing that Cazorla/Areta are no Nasri/Cesc. I'm worried about Spurs. They are starting to play better and have some much attacking talent.

Yeah Fellaini's physicality would add another dimension offensively, especially if some long ball is built around him. Just gonna have to transition from an Attacking Mid to a box to box type guy. He already has chemistry with Hazard as well.

I guess you're all Shakhtar fans today. The good news is that Shakhtar is at home. The bad news is Juventus is rolling in serie A.

They drew in Italy so that gives me hope. With our luck Shakhtar will win and we'll draw.

Even worse in a way, OG by Shakhtar.

At least we went out with a bang I guess... they looked great last night. Just like they looked against West Ham but this time finishing was there. Oh well, of to Europa.
