Pretty much. I don't think the question should be asked when is Torres coming back. This question has now been asked for over two years. At this point it is what it is. This is your Fernando Torres. A striker that's a shadow of himself and it ain't coming back.

If anything he needs to go to Spain to re-find himself. It's not going to happen in the EPL.

Something tells me though we're not getting a CF in January. At least a Falcao like one. Would you sign with a team that won't know who the manager will be in 6 months time?

There are so many players out there that dream of playing CL football and would jump at the chance to join Chelsea, so I don't think Chelsea will have any problem attracting top-tier talent, especially with the wages that talent can be paid. Money + CL = a highly attractive combination, even if the managerial situation is shaky.

The way things are going and the current future outlook it might be Money - CL

One goal in 4 games. Another clean sheet but at the expense of two points lost. Need to be more aggressive at home against Fulham. Mata, Moses, and Marin on bench to start the game and Bertrand at left wing. Might be a good thing next game is away from the Bridge. Atmosphere there is not helping. Players are playing without any life.

          This doesn't help either:

I think the price tag for Falcao goes up immensely if Atletico pulls off the win in the Madrid Derby Saturday and gets a good result against Barca in a few weeks. Could make it harder to bid for Fellaini as rumored.

We are in trouble, boys. The only good thing coming from this team is the fact the we are not conceding. These winter slumps are becoming extremely frustrating

I know this might be an unpopular opinion and I still have just recently got into soccer but I like the way the defense has played since Rafa took over.

It's just disappointing to even watch them anymore. I'm just about ready to want this season just to be over and we're not even out of the title picture yet.

The firing of RDM was bad but hiring a bum like Rafa was the nail in the coffin. If he doesn't instill confidence in any of the fans how are the players supposed to respect him? We all Roman wants excitig footy but since Rafa has been in charge we've scored 1 goal in 3 games. If this keeps up Roman will fire him.

I'm hearing that Avram Grant might be brought back for some kind of consultant role and if things don't turn around he will replace Rafa. Just when we can look anymore like a joke, hopefully it's not true.

I'm not pro-Rafa but... that first half of football should have turned in 3-4 goals. The opportunities created were plentiful. They played well but once again it goes back to the finishing. Torres... could have had 2 goals in the first half and that assist. Instead he only got worse as the game progressed. I can't even blame Rafa. This was happening under RDM as well. This guy has gotten 3 managers sacked already and he's still here!

Also doesn't help Terry/Lampard are out. They sorely needed a captain on the pitch in the 2nd half to hold the fort down. No one there.

I'm against the RDM sacking but I don't believe it would changed much other then team unity. Which existed in the 1st half but once again Torres finishing was the problem. You can bring in Pep here and I don't believe it would matter right now. When you have one CF on the team and his name is Fernando Torres that is a major problem. Board needs to wake up and cut the losses with him. He's done. I'm for loaning him somewhere in Spain and seeing if he can truly re-find himself. If he can't, sell for any amount.

Also like most of us have said in spring, loaning Lukaku was a ridiculous move. Not sure where this blinding faith came from in Torres. Was it his accidental Golden Boot award?

Sorry for the long Torres rant but I can't watch him anymore on the pitch. He's the worst starting CF in the PL. +13 hours with a goal. With all these creators we have (Mata - Hazard - Marin - Moses - Oscar), we're a Ferrari being driven by a 5 year old (Torres). Only saving grace this last month for us can be if Donestk help us out and beat Juve.

So do you Chelsea fans reckon the team will take this Club World Cup tournament seriously or will they likely rest some guys to focus on the league and CL (if they survive tomorrow)?
