Ridiculous. Ref blows the whistle ending the game at this precise moment. It didn't affect the result, but it sure as hell could come back and bite the Revs because Goals Scored is the second tiebreaker (after Wins) that MLS uses when it comes to playoff seeding.



This was after DC had everyone up for a corner, including the keeper, and the Revs cleared it. Ref had plenty of time to blow the play dead, but he waited for Sene to run 80 yards alone in on goal only to whistle after Sene had shot. Stupidest thing I've ever seen.

Well that was pretty bad. Thanks Gonzalez for saving us somewhat.

I'm not a fan of the MLS All Star game, but I realize it's necessary for the league to get our name out there and get some much needed revenue to continue growing as we have been.

Strootman and Bradley looked amazing together. Bradley's versatility and vision is so impressive. He intercepted so many passes with ease. Feel like Yedlin should have started though. He looked like he had a point to prove. And there were just straight up too many damn forwards on the roster and field at the same time. Can't really do much tactically when your team is restricted like that.

Happy to see Yedlin play well last night. Should have done better on the shot over the post.

Also good to see Joseph is no longer a DP. Would like to see a DP type central mid on this team.

Personally, I think Yedlin is overrated for what he actually brings to the table as a defender...

I agree that he isn't the best defender.....but he's only 20 and has a lot of room to grow. His best years are way ahead of him.

I remember when I saw him for the first time in person. He is scary quick. Once he learns to use that to his best advantage on the defensive side, he'll be fun to watch (although I think he already is).

Being reported that one of the U-20 players will be called into Bosnia friendly. More than likely will be Yedlin. Shane O Neill if I was to take a darkhorse guess. Matches I'm looking forward to most this week are Philly-Chicago and Colorado-RSL. Will be interesting to see Casey-Jack Mac-Le Toux go against Rolfe-Magee, could see a lot of goals. Colorado could be on the verge of greatness if they can get Buddle going. They have a really bright future in my opinion with Brown, Dillon Powers, and Shane O Neill.

It's weird. There more talk about Dempsey to Seattle going on in the USMNT thread than in the MLS thread.

not specifically talking about here on OS, but I've noticed around social media that there are a lot of supporters of the USMNT that don't follow MLS. Weird huh?

LA looked pretty good in their 3-1 win against Juventus. Should give us some good momentum going into the playoff push and also Champions League, which starts for some teams next week.
